    I agree with what everyone else is saying. It was funny in the earlier seasons but it's gotten so old now. But honestly I think the reason he bothers Squidward so much is just because he likes him.

    To explain your answer Spongebob is not meant to bother Squidward, because Squidward just wants peace and quiet and Spongebob just wants to play with him. Who knew Squidward is less ideal for a different hobby?

    I feel so fricken sorry for Squidward. Can't spongebob give him a break? In Boating Buddies, he was like a fricken stalker! He needs to get a life!
