    I can see him as a fruit cake in some episodes (especially the movie) and I don't think he's gay but he did do some gay things like in 20,000 Pattys Under The Sea, he said "bye Squidward" 2 times, and Patrick said, "you said bye Squidward 2 times" and SpongeBob said in a creepy voice, "I like Squidward!" Also, Rock a Bye Bivalve is an example also, and there was one where he kissed Squidward on the cheek. Overall, he has no gender.
