i dont understand why some poeple think he's gay the creater Stephen Hillenburg said he's not he's asexual so he's not GAYY!!

I'm pretty sure the creator of the show would know Spongebob's sexual orientation over anyone else. If people want to think Spongebob is gay let them...true fans know the truth!

Yeah, I'm going with some other people here and agreeing with Stephen Hillenberg, the creator of the show..he wants SpongeBob to be asexual, and so he is. I highly doubt the writers and producers of the show would be disrespectful of his wishes and make it otherwise.

Just because some people don't think SpongeBob is Asexual, does not mean they don't understand words. Asexual means SpongeBob is not in love with anyone and does not understand the true meanings of love, therefore causing SpongeBob to always be a Virgin.
However, even if the creator states SpongeBob's Asexual, it still does not mean the new writers and producers are restricted from having some possible romance in the show, and something as abnormal as a sea sponge liking a Squidward can be possible because cartoons are the kinds of shows where anything can happen.

I agree, Stephen is no longer in control, so he has no say in what happens.
