Ok i've got an idea, but its kinda a stretch here especially to SpongeSebastian

Unpinned
-Three Letter Word Game
-Hurt or Heal Madness
-

I say we get the three letter word game and hurt or heal madness since they are both kinda dead

Then we can get the reviews topic unpinned as well because despite the spin-off craze, it will probably stay close to the first page or two just like the news and ideas topic

And then we can get these topics pinned instead

-Forum Committee
-New Giant Game

What I mean by new giant game is like once every Sunday night or some other week night we play a giant trivia like game like Jeopardy or some other quiz show to make the boards more active or something. Well like I said its kinda a stretch, but what do you guys think

That doesn't seem necessary. Both of those pinned games are still very popular and the "New Giant Game" seems like it will die out quickly.

As for Hurt or Heal Madness, have you seen the last time that got a comment? Its been almost nine days since someone has used it.

I knew you would be against my idea from the beginning and I understand why. Its because its one of the few things remaining from back in the early days.

But what I'm thinking about is the future because the forums haven't been as busy as they have been. Do you understand where I'm coming from?

As for jjsthekid, I understand you love the reviews topic, but don't worry it will never disappear when it gets unpinned

I think that really is what we need to think about: the future. These forums get less busy every day, and we need to do something about it. But, that thread will always be here, but there's no reason for it to be pinned anymore.

that70sguy thank you for understanding where I'm coming from. i mean here is my idea for the quiz game like some sort of SpongeBob Quiz Show. for example, we can all sign up for who wants to play on the thread, then every Sunday (just using this one for example since not many people have plans on Sundays) at 1 PM (or another random time) we can start the quiz show. whoever wins gets to run it the next week and so on and so forth. sure it will be kinda slow the rest of the week, but thats when we can sign up for the next game that next Sunday.

if anyone has any other ideas on how to run the game show (that is if we agree to do the game show), then please let it be known because i want it to be a success (that is if we do it)

But are you sure that the thread will be very active, fun, and won't die out? Plus, the Hurt or Heal Game has the most posts, which is kind of why I'm against its demolition, but I guess the majority decides this time. I just don't want the forums page to be flooded with pinned threads.

I don't think TVTome_Shadow wants that unpinned.

Also, about this quiz game, how is it going to work in a continuous way? That way I'd do it is have a host ask questions and the first user to answer the question correctly gains a point or points. Then when a certain user gains a certain number of points, he/she becomes the new host. Is that a good way to do it or is there a more fun way?

Well how about this, we test it out before we get it pinned. If it fails, we just try something else out. I'm not saying its going to be a success, I'm just saying we need a new game to make this forum more active.

But do we all agree that the reviews topic is getting unpinned, so that this thread can get pinned

You guys do realize TVTome_Shadow might not listen to these pin/unpin requests? He's said yes to everything so far, but I think it's only a matter of time until he says no, especially when talking about unpinning historic threads (Last Letter Game was kinda historic, but it was sooooo dead that he almost had to unpin). I think there's a chance he might say no to at least one thing.
