Although, I do enjoy watching reruns of episodes of Jimmy Neutron that I missed.

Mr. Meaty is okay. But most of their other shows are awful. "El Tigre" to me looks like a ripoff of Disney Channel's "The Buzz On Maggie"....

And Nick is just becoming bad in general. Just Jordan can only be described with one word: generic. It's just like every other dumb show that networks intended for kids come up with to make their channel look more like something teenagers would watch. And I can't stand that "Naked Brothers Band" show. Their name is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. And I heard one of their songs and it made me want to slam an arrow through my head! I've never heard a worse song in my life....

SpongeBob is the only thing that makes me want to even watch Nickelodean. SpongeBob is Nick's second best show ever (the first being Invader ZIM, sorry to those who like SpongeBob more), and I think it will stay there until it ends, no matter when it does.

I think SpongBob will end whenever Nick decides to make TeenNick their main priority and blow away all their cartoon shows, if any will be left when that happens.

I never got the hype when it first came out or now. Danny/Sam make a cute couple but the action in the show is rather flat (in my opinion). I think Butch definetly did the best job on FOP.

Yeah, and I also don't think that the plot or the animation goes well with the action. Plus it drives me nuts how his parents are trying to catch the ghost boy when their son never tells them that he's him.

El Tigre is seems like just a big ripoff of Mucha Lucha. It has wrestlers of the Latino heritage and has the same aspects of the show. I think that Mucha Lucha is a much better show than El Tigre.

Yeah, a lot of younger kids probably enjoy Nick's new programming.

Yeah, a lot of younger kids probably enjoy Nick's new programming.
The worst part about Nickelodeon doing this though, is that it seems Nickelodeon is dumping the generation that helped get it popular in the first place and are completely abandoning it to fend for itself! I should know, I was part of the first generation that grew up watching the original Nicktoons back when they were good and not striving to be suck-ups to what would've considered to be a more 'youthful' audience. Nickelodeon knew what cards they were dealing, and they weren't afraid to deal them! Although the first signs of Nickelodeon showing its shakiness in leaning toward a different generation probably first happened with what I consider to be the massively overated Nickelodeon show "Invader Zim!" Even though I only watched one episode of the entire series, it was forgettable at worst and average at best! But Nickelodeon didn't truly start going downhill until it made "Danny Phantom, Avatar the Last Airbender," and "Skyland" their primary focus completely abandoning their high ranking standby's such as "Kaput & Zosky, The Fairly Oddparents, Chalkzone, The Wild Thornberry's, Action League Now, The Angry Beavers, Catdog," & now it seems like Nickelodeon is trying to abandon "Spongebob Squarepants" itself! If that happens, it's pretty much a given that Nickelodeon can say goodbye to the bulk of the audience it still has. I mean, I guess this 'new' generation deserves it's own new cartoons just like the children of the 90's did, but the 'new' generation should be getting better cartoons than the ones showing up!  That's my opinion on the matter! Enough said, true believers!

Nickelodeon doesn't know what audiences like now 'n days. If they just bring back their older shows (even if they are re-runs), then they'd get viewers like crazy. Now Nick probably won't be an animated network anymore

As for Avatar, it's very overrated but I can see why people like it so much. But like someone mentioned before, I can't stand that it's another american cartoon trying to be like anime. The styles in Totally Spies, HiHi Puffy Ami Yumi (they're japanese I guess), Marathon cartoons, etc.

Xiaolin Showdown is like anime, but it has some really good points.

i know that its cartoons were talking about , but even some of the storylines in the newer nicktoons shows are just beyond stupid . i of course get that anything can happen in cartoons and that they are supposed to be a break from reality , which is what makes them so great in my opinion , but the stuff nicktoons is bringing out now just crosses the line of stupidity that cartoons are allowed !!! in the shows like fairly odd parents , it would still pull you in and make you WANT to root for timmy and everything , but i often find myself watching some of the newer shows and wishing that a bus would come along and hit the main character !!!!!

Let's face it...Nickelodeon has some pretty crappy shows on nowadays and SB is, really, the only show I watch on that network. All of the nicktoons from, about, 1994-2003 (or whenever As Told by Ginger ended) were excellent. I love(d) FOP, but there are no more good shows left!!!

    Jimmy Neutron was decent also!!!

I did not read all the posts, but i think the only 3 good nicktoons left are: Spongebob (duh), Fairly Odd Parents (it is back in production), and Danny Phantom (there are still some episodes left)

Yeah, it has a very large crew with very creative writers. It's not like dumb Japanese anime that doesn't make any sense.
