I reckon SpongeBob is the last remains of Nick's classic period, (late 90s to early 00s) where almost everything they did was gold. Now, their new shows seem to be hit or miss.
While some of the new stuff is good IMO, the only two shows that I would call classic that remain on Nick are SpongeBob and Drake and Josh.

Danny Phantom isn't quite cancelled yet, but it makes me wonder WHEN THE HECK WILL NICK AIR THE LAST OF THE EPISODES???!!! Also, SpongeBob isn't the only good nicktoon left IMO. There's Avatar, Drake & Josh, Ned's Declassified is okay, and Danny Phantom. I'm not sure what El Tigre or Barnyard will be like, but I can tell Tak will suck(I HATE the video game!). SpongeBob is still the best, of course!

Oh god they suck so bad! Their songs are terrible and their so annoying! Trying to be cool and stuff, they sure in hell aren't doing a very good job at it.

I like spongbob a lot but I get tired of watching it over and over again, and the fact that i've seen every episode there is except the 3 new ones that will air on February 19, 2007 on Nickelodeon.

I hope that airing new shows doesn't mean less SpongeBob airings.

Yeah, I really do hate to say it, but "Spongebob Squarepants" is probably the only consistently good show left on Nickelodeon. I'm indifferent to the way FOP, TNBB, DP, and "Avatar the Last Airbender" turn out. They don't really turn me on. I'm pretty sure that "Kaput & Zosky" has been cancelled on Nicktoons Network, I am totally in the dark about the fate of "My Life As a Teenage Robot," and I think "Catscratch" and "The X's" are also heading for the chopping block to. "El Tigre" looks like it's going to be too young for me, and I don't think "Barnyard" is going to have strong enough writing materials to make for a successful long running series even though I liked the movie. But unfortunatly, there's only so much one good cartoon can do to carry an entire network. Is it quite possible that the need for Nickelodeon has become a thing of the past? All of the good cartoon shows are being made by Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. for the CW except for "Yin Yang Yo" on Disney (and when I say shows, I mean shows that haven't already been cancelled.) That's my thought on the whole situation! Enough said, true believers! 

except cartoon network's also making crappy shows like foster's with so many lame, stupid jokes and retarded characters and punchlines. and also how can i forget that lame-ass monkey show? boy do they need to take that show off the air. and camp lazlo(one of the most ugly animation i've ever seen. however i hear the next season will probably be their last one, it'd better be true), and robotboy(this show won an award for best show on cn!! are you kiddin' me. i wouldn't even rank it among the top cartoons of all time, and it should be cancelled). other than those 3,cn has much better shows. well, my attention will no longer go to nickelodeon, it'll either be cn or kids' wb(just for legion of superheroes(best u.s. cartoon addition of 2006), and loonatics which i heard might no be back for another season, hope it's not true, or i'm axing kids wb' as well from my proggraming viewage), and anime too. back in the 90's, the animations were creative, and very top of the line, now today's toons seem like they could be drawn by a 6-year old, or any average joe. please, things need to get better.

SpongeBob is the only good show left, I used to watch Nick all the time, but not anymore. I miss the old shows, and the game shows. I just think Nick has taken a huge downward spiral. Seriously who watches Mr.Meaty(SCARY), or Kappa Mikey, El Tigre, or any other weird cartoon that is just stupid. Nick should bring back its old shows on reruns.
