Anyone think these episodes just keep decending? The plots become worse, the backround characters become more and more idiotic and involed ,ect. Anyone else agree? I think this started around episode 64 (Skill Crane/Good Neighbors). Opinions?

I think it started with the first episode that came after the movie. The episodes before the movie were awesome, but after the movie, it just went downhill IMO(No offense to the fans)

yep, i soooooo have to agree. the newer episodes are horrible and the writers seem to be writing episodes not "for the fun of it", but to get "15 minutes".

SpongeBob is losing its touch. The new writers look as if they don't want to put their heart into making these new episodes.

I think the episodes are still good. Even with new writers they're still the same to me.

They seem to keep making comebacks and then declining. For example, season 5 was a great comeback at first, but once it reached the second half, it was just terrible.

I guess I'm not the only one to notice. The life of the series that made it so great is gone, now it's just become lukewarm. In my opinion, the best episode was "Ripped Pants". From then on it started to lose what it had.

Ripped Pants is definately one of the best episodes. But I think that the show is making a comeback and its better than ever.

You guys are all mad and I have proof of it!

"Ripped Pants was a good episode" - Living proof you're going mad

I don't mean to offend anyone, but if the newer seasons are what I have been watching lately, I like the newer season

It was also pretty good for MOST of the second half of season 4. *looks at Atlantis Squarepantis* *shudders*

Seasons 4 and 5 actually weren't that bad. Well, except for the Best Day Ever and Atlantis Squarepantis.

Most of them are pretty good especially the ones of the first 3 seasons that were very funny and had better storyline. But the episodes of the 4th, 5th and 6th season were kind of rushed and ended like fillers. Although some in my opinion were good like Krabs a la mode and The Inmates of Summer.
