Spongebob episodes just keep getting worse?

    I think that the first three seasons are the ones to top, they were pure gold, specially season 3. But I must diasgree with those that say that the show is going no-where with the newer seasons. Of course, it's not the same, and not as good but I think it's still got it's magical touch, and it's Spongebob for heaven's sake, it will always be glorious to me! =D

    Yeah, at least SpongeBob's plotlines are still simplistic and the writers don't exaggerate.

    That episode is a pure classic. It is definetely not one of the worsts.

    It's classic; but IMO it till sucks. Maybe I just hate it cuz it was so played out? But that episode wasn't really funny tho. What's so funny about a guy who purposely keeps ripping his pants?

    Even though I'm ahuge Spongebob fan I have to admit that it is getting pretty bad. I foyu compare the "I Ripped my Pants" storyline to the "Atlantis Squarepantis" storyline it's amazing to see that the storylines are going down. I still like Spongbeob and some of the new episodes but nothing beats the older better episodes.

    guys you dont get i like newer ones they have better quality and potty humor like i like also i think my fav out of all of those episodes of 4-6 is pest of the west

    I'm glad you like the newer episode (one less person to hear complain). I however like the older episodes more. I am not saying I think the newer episodes are bad, I just don't think they're as good.

    i dont like the new seasons. the plot quality is going down. they are not very funny. all of the characters are idiotic. its just not like the old episodes

    While the new episodes aren't as remarkable as the old ones, I don't think they're anywhere near as awful as everyone makes them out to be, as there are quite a few great episodes from season 4 on, such as:Krusty Towers, Patrick Smartpants, Fear Of A Krabby Patty, Enemy-In-Law, Spy Buddies, Squidtastic Voyage, Rule Of Dumb, Krabs Ala Mode, and The Battle Of Bikini Bottom, though there are some lackluster episodes such as:Skill Crane, To Love A Patty, Slimy Dancing, Roller Cowards, Best Day Ever, Karate Island, and New Leaf.
