    I've Been A Fan Since the Show started. And I really Don't Like People Commenting "Oh, This show called spongebob is so gay Its really Mean.When I saw this On the News afew Years back I was Like NO Freakin Way! But Heres A poll About It Enjoy I Guess.

    Yeah, he's not gay just really overaffectionate. I think at some point in the show Spongebob had a crush on Sandy but never admitted it to her.

    Spongebob acts gay only from time-to-time in Seasons 1-3. In Season 1 he didn't act as gay because it showed he might've had a thing for Sandy. Season 4-5 he acts gay constantly.

    Yeah... I sometimes consider seasons 4 and 5 to not really be SpongeBob. The new writers just can't comprehend the way the show was funny, and the way his personality was back in seasons 2 and 3. Season 1 was also different, but not in the same way seasons 4 and 5 are.

Or maybe as someone else said, any episode after the movie is non-cannon. The idea that the movie ends the story does support this. Who agrees?

    Orignally SpongeBob wasn't Gay but once all the rumers started and the show got more publicity the writers started making him even more gayish.

    Ha, well it is really hard to tell, thats why I am guessing the fact that its a cartoon, it is alright to not hint sexual orientation. The creator was nuts, seriously I can see if SB was a chipper sponge that also had at least one episode about liking someone, but through his actions and tones throughout the series, how can you not question his orientation?

    It doesn't matter much, but seriously the creator contradicted himself by portraying a feminine sponge character. Don't get me wrong he show is good, but I like Patrick, Sqid, Krabs more.
