Nickelodeon confirms a second season of "S.S. Spongebob" during a marathon showing the first 9 episodes.
Nickelodeon hosts an event called "S.S. Spongebob: The First 9!" During this event, it shows 9 shorts during a marathon of "S.S. Spongebob". They will include skits of each character, and each character in group skits. During this marathon there will also be the showing of the first 9 episodes of "S.S. Spongebob". The 9th one will be a new one. At the end of the marathon, Nickelodeon will show a music video and a sneak peak for/of season 2.
