Upset with the fact that Kelvin won't go to see his son at the graveyard, Spongebob and his friends try to come up with an idea to get him there anyway, since Alven needs their help. While thinking of plans, Sandy starts to hum a few bars, and to everyones surprise, when Sandy hums something, or, sings something, they can see the notes that come out, and depending on the mood of the song, the effect will vary. This gives her an idea, and with the cooperation of her friends, she practices her singing on them, to see what she can actually do. After a few hours, Sandy figures out that a "classic" mood will basically hypnotize people into doing what she wants. However, see realizes this comes with a price, as she gets very tired after she sings, so everyone decides to just sleep in the forest for the night, then try again in the morning. During the night, a strange vortex opens up a mile or so away from their camp site, which gets the attention of Spongebob and Sandy, since they were on guard duty for so they could make sure the Axe Powers don't attack. Curious, they go to see what the vortex is. A shady figure briskly walks to Spongebob and Sandy, as they walk to it. About half a mile away, Spongebob realizes that they are staring at the Reaper himself! After realizing this, they sprint back to camp so they can wake everyone up and get them out of there. Unfortunately, this doesn't work, as the Reaper mysteriously opens another vortex and materializes himself in front of Spongebob and Sandy, which shocks them into a state of "stoneness", which is being so shocked they can't move, like stone. The Reaper kneels down, so his eyes meet with Spongebob's and Sandy's, and grimly (no pun intended) says that in one week, he will take someone's soul, then vanishes, while reversing time, back to the time where Spongebob and Sandy saw the vortex. Spongebob and Sandy remember what happened, but the vortex isn't there, so they both think it was a bad dream.
In the morning, only Sandy goes to the Elf Castle, since she's the only one that needs to. When she reaches the castle, the orc guards block the entrance, yet again, until she sings a lullaby, which puts them right to sleep. She soon reaches the throne room, where Kelvin tells the orcs to seize her, and throw her into the dungeon. Once the orcs grab her, Sandy concentrates hard, causing the earth below them to constrict the orcs, trapping them, and letting her go. As soon as she's let go, she belts out a classical song, controlling the mind of Kelvin. Sandy tells him to go to the Graveyard right away, to which he, of course, follows. Sandy releases the spell on him, which causes her to almost pass out, but she has enough energy to walk out of the castle, and call to her friends. They all come to her aid, pick her up, and move back to the campsite. Back in the castle, Kelvin notifies his head orc to take over for him until he gets back. Once he leaves, the now king orc tells all the other orcs to seize control of the castle. Episode 20: Ride the Wave
