Well, looking at the weekly ratings and constantly seeing SpongeBob SquarePants, sometimes I wonder if The Simpsons really is more popular.
Same here, but they haven't made a Spongebob roller coaster yet, so I still have my doubts.
Didn't they? I heard there is a SpongeBob-themed coaster called the Rock Bottom Plunge in Mall of America (unless you're making an unrelated metaphorical reference that makes what I said seem really idiotic)

I heard rumors that The Simpsons might end in 2011.

Your dreams just came true! This is in Mall of America like SpongeSebastian said. It came out in 2008 and it has a short but exciting 90 degree drop, straight into a loop, then into some sort of corkscrew thingy. It goes upside down quite a few times.

Look at those people at the bottom. Such a nice couple.
(Unless it's a daughter and father, then I just messed things up with my comment)

I would like to remind you guys that we're talking about Spongebob possibly being the children's equivilant to the Simpsons.

Nah, I don't think so. The Simpsons has phenomenal writers and, even after 400 episodes when some fans are complaining about the show having a decline in quality, they're still coming out with (IMO) clevor ideas. I'm sorry to say this, but SpongeBob just doesn't have those kind of writers. The show already declined in quality in season 4. Thought the newer episodes are somewhat proving to be a comeback, I don't think the it's worthy of being an everlasting series like The Simpsons.

When you say "worthy", it makes you sound as if you like The Simpsons better than SpongeBob SquarePants.

The Simpsons are way better than sb and will always be
