    I think that they should take a long hiatus and return will the series about a year later with some new stories.

    Season 8 will probably start in early 2010.

    I liked Season 5, but 4 and 6 are horrible.

    Season 1------10/10

    Season 3------9/10

    Season 5------7/10

    Season 6------5/10

    Season 4------3/10

    Season 2------1/10 (except for Sailor Mouth)

    It looks like it'll be 2010 at this rate. But I'm thinking maybe they would do another hiatus, much like the one during the end of Season 3. In that case, it might not start until 2012.

    Good, that should give them enough time for them to make the right decisions and produce Newer and greater SpongeBob Episodes again, I mean, with that amount of time, they're practically starting off Fresh.

    oh GOD please dont let season 8 air. isent 7 long, * COUGH terrible COUGH* seasons enough? you guys should be happy it lasted this long. some tv shows only have 2-4 seasons

    If they continue (one example is rushing the Episodes) making SpongeBob Episodes like this, then i can't see it being able to make it, even with a lot of Fans for the Fanbase, face it a lot of the newer Episodes are too rushed with very little Effort, and the Ideas from these Writers are just...well...bad, at least a lot think so, and that is why the Score is slowly but surely dropping.So again, after what I just said, I don't think SongeBob will make it, they're running out of ideas. Unless Nick hires new Writers who may have some fresh and better ideas, but they probably are still wanting to refuse...

    Yeah thats why season 3 was the best season. dont like it that much but it was ok because ATLEAST it wasn't so rushed then this crappy 5th and 6th season.

    Now imagine a 7th season and even worse and 8th season.
