What do you think is the saddest moment in SpongeBob? For me, it's probably when SpongeBob and Patrick were dying on the drying rack in the movie.

I think that's the only sad moment on Spongebob

When I saw that, I started tearing up (but I was only like seven).

I found that scene sad and funny at the same time.

Me too, but that, and the scene from the Spongebob movie were the only Spongebob moments that I thought were sad.

That would probably be my pick, too.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the episode where gary wants to be with patrick and not spongebob and spongebob is scared he's gonna lose his snail to his buddy. the scene with spongebob trying to get gary to come back is sad imo

You're right! I forgot about that one. Although, I don't find it as sad as the drying rack scene or Have you Seen this Snail, but I do agree.

When Spongebob is driven away from home in "Whatever Happened to Spongebob". I don't think it's the saddest but it was kinda said.

I also thought Spongebob moving away in "Home Sweet Pineapple" was sad, too.

There are lots of sad moments

In Karate Choppers, when Spongebob bursted into tears when Mr. Krabs fired him but not for long though

In Pizza Delivery when that guy yelled at Spongebob and slammed that door in his face

That song that Sandy sang in Texas was a sad moment Also in the movie, the part where Mr. Krabs chooses Squidward over Spongebob was kind of sad

In Gary come home, when he missed Gary and remembers the good times

There were always those times where Squidward made SpongeBob cry, like in Christmas Who? and Fools and April that I found pretty sad.

Thank you! I thought I was the only who felt sad when SpongeBob cried in Fools in April.
