Don't worry, I understand about this. I think there's a lot of problems with not just Nick though, there's been a lot of cruddy things going on with television and perhaps one of the reasons (at least I think that's what it is) is that Stations just aren't beng paid enough anymore for them to try and get the best Creators and have them put a lot of Effort and hard but good work into them anymore, and the reason I'm talking about is this Failing Economy we got going on here, this Inflation/Recession, too many problems with Money because of this what I think is a Pointless War.
Oh yeah and don't forget about my Discussion here if you think I could be right with this.

Sorry to burst your bubble SpongeBob hater. But Atlantis SquarePantis was the highest rated SpongeBob episode to date. Plus the show is in the top 40 for ratings at least 20 times a week. So do some research before you decide to bash SpongeBob again, because your post was laughable for how incorrect the information was. Please stop bashing SpongeBob on the SpongeBob forums, because you sound stupid when you do, when you look at the ratings.

to the statement quoted above me ->

I believe it should be like this............

    In this world

No one has the right to say if a man should die or not

No one has the right to say if a man should give up his family

    And because of these reasons

No one should have the right to say if a man should lose his career or not

a complicated statement that you have to look into to understand

this topic is silly, you can't determine the future of a mans proffesion?

YOU DON'T WORK THERE! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT GOES ON IN THAT WRITERS BOOTH

so please don't opionnate another fellow mans future

You mean Drymon and Tibbit? They've been there for a LONG TIME, yet Drymon was the creative director in seasons 1-3. Tibbit wrote some episodes too. I don't think it's Drymon and Tibbit to blame, even though they're in charge. They don't think that kids will stop liking Spongebob. I would blame the new writers Zeus Carvas, Steven Banks and Tim Hill.
Does no one see this!?!?!? It's important!
Yeah I see that, it looks like Drymon was with Stephen Hillenburg the First 3 Seasons? So if Drymon possibly helped Stephen Out with those Episodes, then I guess Drymon and Tibbit aren't the real suckish Writers, where its actually Zeus Carvas, Steven Banks, and Tim Hill.

Yeah, but Tibbit and Drymon are being blamed for the bad writers, even though they aren't to blame!

I greatly appreciate Thisisdard's passion and agree with his views.

We need to find some way to make Nickelodeon see the light and sack the new writers.

There is one main factor though, and that factor is Nick basically using Spongebob as a tool of corporate greed. As long as the show continues, Nick will get more money. New episodes means more DVD's. As long as the show exists, they'll keep selling Spongebob merchandise. I think Spongebob has gone from a show Nick aired to entertain people to an excuse for Nick to sell more stuff and get more money.

However, they do realize that they actually need viewers to keep a show running, so they over-advertise Spongebob. That's one of the reasons Atlantis Squarepantis got so many viewers, because Nick advertised the hell out of it, even on other stations. The false advertsising of the special being a TV movie contributed to this huge outcome, simply because people had waited years for such a thing to happen (45 minutes does not equal TV movie, it has to be at least an hour long).

Basically, they're using Spongebob to get more green and they beg people to watch the newer episodes to maintain public interest in the show, which leads to people buying their products.

Nick should know by now what the writers have been doing to the show. If not, then Nick seems to think, "If it's Spongebob, it's automatically good." If they do happen to have this mentality, then that's just stupid.

This is just an educated guess, I don't know for sure. All I know is that the writers are talentless and lazy and need to be sacked, and you probably know that too.

I agree. I'm also upset at the thought of how they don't care about editing disgusting parts of the newer episodes. Cause I mean they did with older episodes like Survival of the Idiots! But now, they don't even care. And it's making many fans vomit and starting to hate the show.

Well, after hearing how disgusting The Splinter sounds, I think they should just stop airing the whole episode.

We're lucky Slide Whistle Stooges hasn't premiered yet, which is why "The Splinter" is currently not airing here in the US.

Yeah. It's declining. But, for me, I tend to live and learn through even the most horrible shows and, eventually, I pull thought and will have the... bawls to watch it. Even if it is Out of Jimmy's head!

I really liked the movie and the seasons beyond it weren't horrible in my opinion. They just need a lot of work.

Maybe they should make the bad writers do something else? Like voice random fish or something? Draw? Something other than what they're doing now.

Im back now. I'll just revive the topic for now but come back in a week or 2.

    ________

Anyway, I think it was wrong for me to generalize and say it was the writers' fault for this horrid mess.

I think instead we should identify the culprits.

Steven Banks, Zeus Cuervas, Dani Mitchaelli, Tim Hill II, Luke Brookshier, and I think some people in the storyboard department need to get the BOOT although I am not sure who exactly.

I feel sorry for Stephen Hillenburg and his GOOD writer friends Kaz, CH Greenblatt, Merriweather Williams, and the rest of the original crew. It must be really awful for him to watch his biggest creation, an international sensation, go down the drain in front of his eyes whenever he turns the TV on...

i disagree. spongebob is still good. their running out of plot ideas is all. but honestly none of us can actually say we can do better. all they need to do is stop airing it every second of every day and give us some new episodes!

Are you aware that the writers have changed post movie hence the quality deterioration? They had ideas.....albeit rarely for years.

But they are PROFESSIONALS! They are really expected to be doing better and they should! But have they been able to do that? They have had chance to redeem themselves by airing new episodes and they've been doing that for 3 seasons already (seasons 4-6). But have they been making the most out of every new chance they get whenever they've aired a new episode?

You know what thisisdard, this is getting really old. I am sick of this, I haven't posted anything in this thread for the amount of time I have seen it, but I am getting sick of your negative posting. Did you watch WhoBob WhatPants? It was a pretty good episode. Did you watch Super Stuffed Weekend 2008? All of those episodes (aside from Dear Vikings) were good.

The old writers had their share of bad episodes too you know: The Smoking Peanut, SpongeBob BC, Nature Pants, Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy 1 just to name a few.

I understand that Seasons 1-3 are better than Seasons 4-6, but Nickelodeon doesn't have any other good shows (animated or live action) except for The Fairly Oddparents, Drake & Josh, and iCarly (even though iCarly is extremely overplayed), but your constant posts are getting really tiring.

No, If you haven't realized I started this thread 6 - 7 months ago when I blew my top off after hearing more idiotic decisions from Nickelodeon in the news, of course I apologize.

I dont criticize with so much acid anymore considering I havent been to the forums in half a year. However, instead of generalizing I thought I should just give names of people who should be given the boot ASAP and, of course, just criticize if ever constructively.
