Now, as we all know, there has been a locked thread from TVcom_Moderator called TV Show Fun and Games for a long time, and so you may not have noticed that a new post was added today, saying that only 4 games per board will be allowed.

Therefore, the following games have been moved to the TV Show Fun and Games Forum: SpongeBob Hangman Spongebob Role Playing Game, Vending machine Game, the SpongeBob Levels Game 2.0, and the SpongeBob New Kelp City Showdown (Winner's Cup).

Why this rule was implemented--don't ask me, but this is the way it is, unfortunately, despite the inconvenience of having to remember that the games are on a completely different board. However, the link above will direct you to that forum, where all of the aforementioned SB games can be found.

    Thanks.

I just sent TVComModerator a PM regarding this issue and the fact that parties have been banned from this forum.

As I said, last night I sent a PM to TVCom_Moderator regarding these issues and in said PM I mentioned Pokesponge's idea, though without mentioning his username.

Hmm, how about we all go over to the Off-Topic Forum on November 30th 2008 and I'll start a SpongeBob SquarePants November Party 2008!! thread.

I'm more than sure they won't lock it if it's there.

So who's with me on this? Only problem is SB haters, but still, it's better than no parties.

I think they're considered "off topic."

tHIS IS AN UPDATE: I have received a PM in response from TVCom_Moderator, who says that parties on the off topic thread will not be allowed. He suggests setting up a party in one of our blogs and advertising via our signature, which, actually, doesn't sound like that much of a bad idea. What are your thoughts about that? For example, the holiday party could be hosted in the host (is it CrazyOdd who's hosting the holiday party??)'s blog.

And, also while we're at it, I'd like to place a bid to host the earliest party that doens't yet have one.

TBH, that's a horrible idea. The comments thing never works for me. What kind of party is that on a blog? Besides, a party not allowed on an off-topic thread is just stupid.

I don't understand that either, if what RedSoxFan said was true that parties are considered to be off-topic, then why aren't they allowed to be hosted in other off-topic threads? Man, i hope the mods understand that some people like me find the rules here confusing and somewhat complex. Is there some location here that tells you what the whole list of rules here are and how they are followed?

Not all the rules. If you read all of them, you'd be here until the Year 3000

He's right. The rules are so long and involved you can barely read one page of them. I don't understand why you couldn't have them on the off topic boards either, if they're going to be considereed off topic. So...there must be some place that we can have these where we won't get harrased by moderators.

Yeah. I'm sorry, but not having an off-topic thread on an off-topic forum is just a load of fishpaste flavoured barnacles covered in tartar sauce (see, I'm still on-topic. They're from SpongeBob )

Here's what I think our problem is...because it would be called "SpongeBob" party, it would be too on-topic to go on the off topic board, yet because we just end up chatting in those parties, it's too off-topic for the regular SB board. We need something in between!!

    How about, November Party 2008??

    That way, it's OFF-topic.

And anyone could join, whatever show they liked!

Chance to make new friends, and stuff..

We could still bring guests from any show.

Hmm...that's a good idea. If we don't specify "SpongeBob" in the title, then maybe it would be allowed as off topic.
