Phineas and Ferb or Spongebob?

Which one do you like more?

    Spongebob is way better. First all of the characters in Spongebob talk most of the time. But in Phinesas and Ferb, Ferb says like 2 words every episode. And Perry doesn't even say anything.

    Clearly, you yourself are not done fighting this war and not done offending some SpongeBob fans for not liking Phineas & Ferb.

    And you know what, I have a feeling you won't go away because Supergamez86 just probably reignited your flames.

    Phineas does most of the talking.......Ferb's character is supposed to be the quiet one.......that is how the creators of the show envisioned him. And Perry is an animal, and animals don't or are not supposed to talk. Spongebob is funny that way, but there are funny moments in Phineas and Ferb as well. Anyways, I agree with SquidRob.......let's all agree to disagree and move on and enjoy our respective shows. Yes, Roy, THAT means YOU!

    If id have known thier was this discussion i would have been here ages ago but i cant say anything because your calling a truce oh well i just have to say though phineas and ferb are great (thats why i have my avatar) and if you read my signiture youll know my fav character!

    I'm not angry at eeemee. Me and him were simply having a debate. It was your jerkish sounding comments that got me infurated. Your comment about intelligent humor flying over my head pissed me off. So you insulted me first.

    In case you didn't know, Dan Povenmire (one of the cocreators of P & F) was a writer on SpongeBob first. And trust me, he wrote plenty of SpongeBob's intelligent humor along with the other writers. So don't act like Phineas and Ferb reinvented the intellegent humor, when Dan was on SpongeBob first and he was part of the glory days of Seasons 2 and 3.

    Yet again, I'm sorry if anything I say pisses anyone off and I want peace between the SpongeBob fans and P&F fans. Please!!

    Remember how I did warn you that the post wasn't going to be full of sunshine and chocolate smiles at the beginning of it?

    Well with the number of times people keep going on and on about it, I'd be surprised if I didn't know that Dan worked on Spongebob. At least he realised the Spongebob horse was dead, while the other writers kept flogging it, though. I never said that Spongebob doesn't have intelligent humour, I did laugh quite a bit at the jokes in the "glory days", however the giggle-o-meter is not really a fair way of judging how good a show is.

    As for "Leave. Leave everyone on this thread alone" Please, I'm not even flaming, however you clearly do care that I my ratio of saying positive things about PaF to negative spongebob things is about 5:1 (what you call "flaming"), sorry that my nature keeps me from leaving, I only came back because my first post was supposedly "trolling", as opposed to all of these. I'm not going for a flame war, if anything it seems you just tried to throw more firelighters at the flame with your taunt that you could all "beat me" at a flame war, if you don't want one, don't say things that invite trouble.

    Lastly, I find it odd how people say "I'm done with this thread, I'm not coming back here" and hold that vow up for about 2 more posts, kind of proves that people thrive on the arguments, if everything was peaceful in the world, well I shouldn't go on to a different topic in this thread, I'd go on for bloody hours.

    P.S - .......Nope, forgot, had it for a second, then forgot it, dang.

    How much a character talks is no measure of how good the show is.

    Secondly, chentalsong, we get it that you don't like Disney. Not that we necessarily agree with you, but we get it. Don't feel bad, or attacked or anything.

    Thirdly, I agree with everyone who says that we should calm down a bit. (Although not with the part about you being able to beat us in a flame war, not with Roy on our side.)

    What you guys need to understand is you can't take Roy's comments so hard. Yeah, he'll insult you. Yeah, he won't hold back on anything, and he'll say exactly what he thinks. Yes, he'll make his comments sound as pointed and condescending as he wants to. That's just part of him and his unparalleled awesome. Don't take it personally, because he'd do that to anybody, it's not just you. So just keep that in mind, you'll be less offended. Besides, he DID warn you....

    Also, excellent point there about Dan Povenmire, SquidRob. Yes, our two shows do share a creator.

    Man this thing is still going on? But actually, the good thing is, it looks like things are finally returning back to normal and there's no heat going around here. I am so very relieved about that. I had a feeling eeemeee was a girl actually, I just wasn't 100% sure. The rest of you guys however can tell that I'm obviously a girl.

    The title is comparing the two shows, not trying to bash the two shows. Its what the bashings towards the other show was what caused the problem. Comparing shows but then flaming one of the shows is what causes the flame wars people. Opinions are fine, but I guess some PaF fans here didn't think some of them were and took them as flaming posts.

    The users here need to understand that this thread is just a comparison, not a SpongeBob VERSUS Phineas and Ferb thread.

    Some users like SpongeBob better, others its Phineas and Ferb, and even though its a suprising opinion, but some people can just not like Disney Channel period.

    As for me my opinions about these shows are that I kinda like both of them. Phineas and Ferb not too much, there's some things I don't like about it but there are a few things I like about it, and as for SpongeBob, yeah I like that show too, but not the newer seasons almost entirely. Which is exactly why I voted for TIE in this poll.

    Actually, we're fine with people stating their opinions. It was when Roy's opinion was deleted as flaming that we really got angry.

Anybody can simply say, "It's stupid", and that's what results in a flame war, when people just hurl insults with no factual backup. When people give reasons for their opinions, then what could've been a flame war turns into a peaceful debate.
