    Life really was much more simple in the 90's when you think about it. You weren't constantly at society's fingertips with cell phones, labtops, digital cable, and all the technology we enjoy today. I would give anything to go back to that time and run through the sprinkler or go on the slip 'n slide while being squirted by a super soaker 2000. Spongebob is comforting in that something from our time can still be enjoyed by the children of today.

    By the time Spongebob first aired those were good times indeed and there were more commercials about cartoons that they do now.

    I remember the very first time I watched a SpongeBob episode. My TV was on, and I woke up to see SpongeBob and Patrick blowing bubbles.

    One day my mom put on this pretty new show called SpongeBob SquarePantsto keep me quiet. I liked the episode I saw, so then I watched another, and another, and before long, I was hooked!

    oh yea; I remember watching spongebob back then; I think Ripped Pants was one of the first epis I ever saw....*sigh* and I even taped Help Wanted, Meeeeeeeeeeeeemories.....

    yea, you're so right! I really have to agree with you; I miss the 90's too- and most of the shows of the 90's the kids of these days don't see anymore, instead they get Reality TV
    spongebob has so many memories and I'm really glad it's still on
