do you think the show will be called "classic" once it ends because there aren't alot of classic 21st century cartoons and spongebob is one of the only ones that would even be up for consideration.what do you think

Yes it did, dunbrine47, and everyone will remember Spongebob, even if it ends (which I hope not too soon), like if the Simpsons ended(I hope that won't end too soon, also), everyone will remember it.

Anyone from this generation will remember it, at least.

But I think after it's cancelled and moved to Nicktoons Network-only showings (maybe 5-7 years or so), it'll start to be forgotten.

I'm pretty sure SpongeBob will be remembered as an all-time classic. After all, it's the most watched children show in HISTORY!

    uuh....What?(Just Kidding =p)

P.S Avatar would own spongebob... if not for one thing. It was a fixed story that had a definite end.

Yes, it should very well definitely be a classic! I'd like to see this show running for more time to come. (Like 5-10 more years at least.)

I really hope this show can get better too. I can't wait to see what the season seven episodes are like too!

Yeah sorry Avatar fans, but while you may always love it, you can't deny that it won't be remembered. Heck, the vast majority of the public will probably forget about it in the next few years.

Avatar is a great show, but it just isn't a classic.
