Check it out! SpongeBob will not be canceled in 2008 after all like that website said. Note: That website is not the New York Times. It was some other website someone posted here that claimed SpongeBob would be canceled in 2008. Soon people started to believe that (at least at TV.com).

    WHOO!

Of course, I didn't know it was going to be cancelled in the first place, but I'm glad it's not.

I don't know what to say about this, until season four makes an improvement. If it drops, then I bet they will be practically out of ideas by the mid point of season five, and season six may turn out to be a disgrace. But we can only wait, and hope...

That's good news. At least we know SpongeBob will make it past 10 years.

Kinda like Rugrats did..... 1-Both shows have gone over 10 years. 2-They were thought to be cancelled, but they were brought back due to fans missing the show.

Lol,Stimpy reference and the sarcasm i agree unless either Stephen Hillenburg comes back or they do a good job of it so i can't wait to see how season 5 turns out but i still can't wait for season 6 either.

    13 episodes? That's weak.

That puts the total up to 113 episodes. And how many have aired?

Alot of shows do thirteen episodes for every season. Atleast it's only once for SpongeBob.

On one of the DVDs, they said season 1 was going to be 13 episodes. I'm assuming it was later upgraded to 20.

Oh yeah. STephen Hillenburg said that, right?

I'm glad their's going to be a Season 6. I'd have a feeling there would be atleast 2 more seasons anyway.

But often when a show gets an episode order of less than it normally does, it's the last season.

They are probably just testing the waters on this one. If the rest of Season 4 and all of Season 5 do well then the order might get extended to 20 episodes but atleast wen know that Nick has faith in this show.

I hope it really is renewed for a sixth seasojn. And as SpongeSabastian said, I'm very glad there'll be at least 10 years of SpongeBob. It'll be the best decade ever.
