SpongeBob SquarePants: New Season New Personalities

Have you noticed that in season 5 the main charecters have different personalities
For Example....
Sandy: Season 2 & 3 (my favorites): a squirel with a Texas ascent and a good athlete
Season 5: A genius squirel who invents stuff, is alittle more rude, and no longer is funny, or an athlete
Do you notice anymore different personalities?

SpongeBob's is different, he acts more kiddish. Also, Squidward is meaner, and loses a lot.

SpongeBob- He is now like a baby.
Patrick- His stupidity is overdone.
Squidward- He seems to be losing it.
Mr. Krabs- He seems to think he's the main character.
Sandy- She barely ever does anything active anymore.

I do kind of feel bad for squidward though, (i mean he loses a lot). Mr. Krabs is kind of overused i think, and Sandy is different. (i understand they're trying to make upfor sandy's rocket, but i kind of miss old sandy.)

SpongeBob- He's sort of the same, but he's behaving more childish, but he's matured a bit in Season 5.
Patrick - Sometimes, they make him really stupid, but those smart moments he has are funny.
Squidward - Still remains the same. He's annoyed by SpongeBob and some of his performances are really good like in "Krabs a la Mode".
Mr. Krabs - Greedy and is always trying to take SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward's spotlight. He wasn't that funny sometime in Season 4, but Season 5 he's improved.
Plankton -He's pretty much the same as before and his schemes are the same.

I feel bad for Squidward too. Why does he always lose, like in the episode where he wanted to win a dance contest.
And what about Pearl? I haven't seen her all season.

He gets his way a lot of times like when SpongeBob moved to the Krusty Krab (New Digs) or when Jim came back for a while (The Original Fry Cook).

Sponge and Pat just have gotten more childish, and Squid seems to have no personality depth to his character, always the grumpy without a purpose.

I think Plankton is the ONLY main character who still acts generally the same. As for Sandy, what's the deal with making her a scientist? I mean the only episode prior to season 4 that made her look really smart was "Sandy's Rocket". Not only that, but they almost completely got rid of her karate skills except for "Dunces and Dragons" and "Karate Island" (and a few others, I don't remember).

I agree, Plankton is the only one who is still the same.
I wish Spongebob wouldn't be so darn happy all the time.

Spongebob seems like a little kid who deperately needs to work off excess energy, except with him, it's now 24/7.
Patrick: Way too stupid in the new episodes. Only dumb luck could keep someone like that alive.

That`s true . Sometimes they just go too far with Patrick . Like in Donut of Shame and Pat no Pay .

I think that they should have put in some karate in "A Flea in her Dome" since it would be appropriate.

Patrick is now super dumb and is a lot meaner . He took SB`s $100 , he stole his donut , he squished him onto a taco , he yelled at Spongebob .
