    That`s not the point ! In S1 Patrick helped SB . In S5 it`s the other way around . Remember Patrick in Help Wanted , Party Pooper Pants , Texas , Neptune`s Spatula , MM and BB 3 , Hooky , Doing Time , and MM and BB 4 . He was stupid , but it was the funny kind . Sometimes in S5 his stupidity goes far beyond funny . Some eps. are even based on his stupidity .

    I now hate Patrick, he is so stupid now.

    Why are they making so many bad episodes?

    If they want more viewers, make an episode with Pearl, espesially one that says wheither Krabs is a widower, divorsed, or adopted Pearl.

    Also I hate the episodes with Sandy being a genius. And are so many episodes at the KK? And what happened to the 2nd one.

    The second one is in the movie, which takes place after the show.

    Patrick helped SpongeBob tones of times in Season 5. He helped him in Roller Cowards to face his fear of the roller coaster or in Donut of Shamewhen he tried to help SpongeBob even though his methods are wrong. How stupid was Patrick in Donut of Shame? At least he tried to hide the donut, even if he wasn't that effective in doing it.

    I hate Season 3, but here's what I think of the characters in season 5:

    Spongebob: More dumber, and childish

    Patrick: Less stupidity

    Sandy: More interested in science

    Mr. Krabs: A crustatious cheapskate!

    But of course, I loved Season 4.

    Season 3 ended a couple of years back... Unless you do mean Season 3 and not 5...

    How much dumber is SpongeBob? Sure he has his ditsy moments this time around, but he's not dumber and he's behaved way more childish previously than before. He's had a girlfriend this season (even if it was a rotten Krabby Patty) and that's more mature than playing with reef blowers.

    I guess less stupidity is good for Patrick, but there are some people on this forum (I'm not saying you are) who say that Patrick is dumber this season than ever before.

    Sandy has always been interested in science, but I guess since her monkey bosses came around she's decided not to slack off as much and deal more with science so that she doesn't get kicked out of Bikini Bottom.

    Mr. Krabs has been a crustaceous cheapskate ever since the show started. An example of that before this season would be in "Born Again Krabs" where his cheapness was addressed straight forward as he sold SpongeBob to the Flying Dutchman for a couple of coins. At least this season, he's willing to let Squidward slack off a bit...

    I ACTUALLY meant the personalities in Season 5, I think I should tell you what I think of the charatcers in SEASON 3:

    Spongebob: Less funny, and more serious

    Squidward: More likely cares about nothing

    Patrick: Same

    Sandy: Same

    Mr. Krabs: A big cheapskate and a big jerk

    Random fish: More violent, and ANNOYING!

    Yes I SO agree upon these.. (someone might of already mentioned these)
    Has anyone else Noticed about the Whole Karate thing with Spongebob & Sandy...In The most the resent of episodes either of them say there either busy or just not able to do at all... *Sigh* About the Patrick thing yes he seems dumber than he should be it makes really sad
    Spongebob seems like more of a child then he usually does..
    Mr.Krabs & Plankton seemed to have become the main characters some how.. As For Squidward he seemed to have lost his luster..
    But thats just my opinion..

    SpongeBob- he is more childish, but other than that he is generally the same

    Patrick- he is dumber and he seems meaner to spongebob (takes 100 bucks from him, stands on his face, destroys his house, etc)

    Squidward- he is just losing it

    Sandy- more of a smart character instead of an athlete

    Mr Krabs and Plankton- more like the main characters now

    Fred- stopped the "my leg"

    Season 4 because it has clever ideas! But I love the other 4 seasons also! infact I stick with this series my life!

    Spongbob is more childish, and mr. krabs is just a JERK. but he's not as mean as he was in S4.
