Well, I haven't imitated anything too severe, but things I saw on television when I was little really did influence my life. Imagine if my parents let me watch incredibly violent and racey programming.

My mom imitates things (sort of). She was a fan of "ren and stimpy", and she bought a cat from the pet shop, and named it "stimpy". It was a girl cat! Trust me, my mom is a huge "ren and stimpy" fan.

That's not imitating something, that's just obsession...

I'm watching Bob Esponja, it's Skill Crane... Grua de Habilidad, man, these traductions SUCK!

I think Bob Esponja is funny! For example, in "Krusty Krab Training Video", POOP: People Order Our Patties is instead CACA: Clientes Adoran Comer Aqui (Customers Enjoy Eating Here).

Oh yeah, now THAT's gold, that's why KKTV used to be my favorite episode when I used to watch SB in spanish, specially since the narrator didn't have a retarded voice like the characters

Lets speak french! With this translator:

    http://dictionary.reference.com/translate

We can talk in french. But, after you say it in in french, tell us what it is in english! I`ll start:

French: C`est un beau jour ici dans le texas

English: It is a beautiful day in texas!
"Hey guys, I just watched an episode of Dragon Ball Z! They could fly and everything!" "Really? How?!" "Goku was able to use a cloud, and everyone else just jumped off stuff, maybe if we did that, we could too!" "YEA!" *jump, break bones, end up in hospital* Different scenario "Hey guys, I just watched an episode of Dragon Ball Z! They were able to break solid walls just by punching them!" And I think you know where that leads.
A kid would have to be pretty stupid to think they can fly or jump off stuff or break down solid wall with their fists. They would probably be as stupid as cosmo. Or maybe even stupider. If thats possible

A KID would have to be pretty smart to NOT try that... Do you think kids (7 years old...) would have that much common sense? If they did, they must have some strict ass parents, if kids see anything, they think they can do it, which is why people who aren't 21 yet think they can do whatever the hell they want, since they just think "Oh, it doesn't matter, I'm not an adult yet so I can't get hurt doing this!" Or has your Health class not gone over the whole "Kids drink and drive because they think they won't get hurt" stuff they tell us. Kids imitating and doing ridiculous things is the whole plot of the Fairly Odd Parents movie Channel Chasers, yes, this is a cartoon, but it gives a good message, don't imitate mindless acts of violence or you'll get hurt. And for the record, I never said "run through walls" I said "jump off stuff to fly" if you're going to quote me on something, please make it right.

Is there anybody here woh hates barney? If everyone does, then you all are cool. Lets talk about how boring barney is.

It is worse than barney! I liked it when I was an infant, but now it is stupid and barney always has a corny smile on his face. It creeps me out! I had nightmares about that stupid purple dinosaur!

Yup, it looks like you're only 20 miles from DFW, so if your family wanted to fly, you wouldn't have to go very far. Man, you're so lucky. The closest major airport (George Bush in Houston) for us is a 2-hour drive from where we live. As for Barney, I always thought that show was a bit cheesy

Btw, imo, Barney falls in the same category as Dora, Telletubies, blue's clues and such, they are quite decent, educational, and for very small children, outside their age demographic they have no chance at all to be liked.
I certainly do not hate it, but if i watch i will get bored easily, i loved barney and his kind before grade school (maybe in the first year too) and they will always be in my heart as pure early childhood heroes.
