Well, after the whole season four and five rating drop, it's nice to see the ratings soar up again for the newer episodes. To me, it looks like the writers have gotten their act together, and the show is finally starting to attract some of it's previously lost viewers.

So what's your opinion on this? Do you think the show is getting better than it was in the past few seasons? Are you looking forward to the future of SpongeBob if it continues as it is now? Voice your opinion!

I will always love Spongebob, being the first thing I ever obsessed over(kinda like your first relationship) but I'm gonna have to say no. I really don't like most episodes anymore, and I miss Spongebob's voice having a lower pitch. His voice is definitely getting more annoying.

Season 6 is doing a lot better than Season 5. But there are still some things that need to be fixed.

True, but they're not going to fix them. There's no way SpongeBob will ever be perfect again. Sorry, but it's true.

Yeah, I agree. Sponge has taken a pretty hard blow, and unless they get Hillenberg back, which will never happen, the show will never regain it's former glory.

Hillenburg and the old writers. Steve's a great director, but if the show were to be the same fantastic show it was all those years ago, they'd need ALL the old writers back.

I think that the show have adopted a new kind of humor for season 6, and I honestly have to say that I like it. It "feels" better than late season 5, that's for sure. But they should stop with the grotesque parts.

And yeah, I just wish that Steve came back for season 7, and so the old writers like Merriwether Williams, Kent Osborne, Jay Lender, and C.H. Greenblatt (but I doubt that he'll come back because he has Chowder now) =\

Why would Hillenburg quit if he created the show?
