Meh, we all cry, specially on frustration and extreme sadness, some more than others. SpongeBob is a very sensitive guy, he can get overly happy as well as overly sad. It annoyed me on All That Glitters a little, but the rest I can live with.

He also cired No Weenies Allowed, but that was for a good reason since he broke his fingers in half just for cracking his knuckles a little too hard or something like that. However, that did show that SpongeBob's weakness and scrawniness can sometimes be exaggerated as well. Like when SpongeBob's crying was exaggerated in well, at least All That Glitters anyway, it was just his spatula, and in real life, something like that can easily be repaired and back to normal, but in the episode, it was like the spatula was SpongeBob's wife or something.

Which leads to this: What is with inaminate objects being like women since they are something SpongeBob loves? Not just the spatula in All That Glitters but also... blech... the krabby patty in To Love a Patty as well.

Oh yeah and SpongeBob cried a lot in Grandma's Kisses, but I thought it was funny seeing him cry so hard to try and get his Grandma's love back and for her to treat him like a kid again! So SPongeBon tried to flood the whole house with tears and pretend his eyes are sprinklers! So I think that was a for good reasons too.

So far it looks the only episode where SpongeBob really is overdoing the crying is All That Glitters. Yet suprisingly, I found it funny in that episode too.

^I agree, "All That Glitters" really takes it over the top. It annoys me a little, but I watch it anyway.

Yeah, he and Patrick cried when his toy "broke" and I just thought that was extremely childish, a grown man wouldn't cry over a simple toy.

In Karate Choppers, Spongebob cried into a cup and drink his tears, that was funny and weird at the same time, but you would cry too if you got fired at the job you think is the best in the world.

^The part of the toy crying that disturbed me was when SpongeBob and Patrick were rolling on top of each other. I felt sorry for SpongeBob in "Karate Choppers" though. The one thing about the crying that I thought was gross was in the Movie, when SpongeBob and Patrick cried into each other's mouths. THAT is something about the crying that should never be put in an episode again!

^^They were crying because their hometown and all their truely beloved friends were already falling into Plankton's evil reign of terror and they lost hope in saving the day, until Mindy perked them into believing they were real men.
