I have been a huge Spongebob fan since the original airing and it seems that the show has just gained steamed over the time. I don't see an end in sight. However, all good things must come to and end and my question is how many more seaons do you think Spongebob will have before it faces cancelation? Please no riducous comments. I think the show will have an additional 3 seasons as long as the show does not start to slip in the ratings. However, Disney has become a major compettitor to Nickelodeon in recent years with the addition of Hannah Montana, etc. On the other hand Spongebob has been Disney's most profitable venture and continues to - with paid advertising, marketing, franchising etc.

I doubt that it'll compete with Hannah Montana because they barely have anything in common to compare against. Hannah Montana competes against shows like iCarly on Nick. But I give it about until Season 10.

I do not want to sound biased or anything, but think about it; SpongeBob SquarePants is pretty much the most popular show on television. I think it will go for at least a seventh season. If not that, then a twenty episode sixth season (it is scheduled for thirteen episodes, but they may extend it). If they try for an eigth season, that may be pusing it.

If you want my real answer, I think 8 seasons will be maximum.

Rather than eight seasons, I think seven seasons, and another movie [in theatures] will do .

Be it the seventh, eigth, ninth, or one hundredth season, I think the show should return to it's original format for it's final season.

There's some special spark about Hannah Montana that the other Disney 2006 shows that premiered didn't have... In 2003, it was That's So Raven. 2004 was Phil of the Future. 2005 was The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and 2006 was Hannah Montana. I dunno why, but out of all the shows that premiered that year, Hannah Montana seemed to be the most popular...

SpongeBob needs to act like he did in Seasons 1,2, and 3.

Perferably season three, though it would really be something special to be like season one. It would be like the show ending the way it started.

Probably up to a 7th season if the popularity of the show remains successful.

If they did as the last episode of Season 7 or something, it should be SpongeBob and Patrick acting like they used to. Unwhitty, funny, and not so stupid!

Zack and Cody rules, Hannah does not.

Um, this is supposed to be a Spongebob forum. As to the topic, I think it would be kind of hard to revert the show back to season oneish in the last season. I'm thinking late season three.

Can we stop talking about the Disney Channel and get back on topic now!?

There's not really anything else you can add to the topic if you've already said how many seasons you want or expect from the show. But I can't speak for everyone...
