    yes yes I know the science of it, but then we would have to argue that sponges don't talk either if you're going to get technical.I am speaking of his character, not of sponges in nature.

    if we were to accept that he has no sex, we'd have to question why he wears tighty-whities. Besides, I already addressed the asexual nature of sponges earlier in this post.

    the evidence is there, but I do not wish to argue any more. it's not important. he is loveable either way.

    I don't think it's necessary for SpongeBob to come out openly about something, especially if it turns out to be one of those long speeches like he gave in "Hall Monitor".
