...Well first of all, I really hope your'e still reading these posts and I wanted to say that I'm glad someone out there thinks the same as I do. In fact you are pretty much the reason why I created an account in the first place (I been an anonymous for a while...and hey it's not everyday I see a dedicated SpongeSquid supporter!) and I would really like to chat with you (preferably on e-mail or MS, hence I still have no idea how PM works on this site) about the topic furter and maybe some other stuff if possible.
Back on topic...
I also would like (and believe) that SpongeSquid could be possible on the show, there's already some 'hints' in the show like 20,000 Patties Under The Sea, The Two Faces Of Squidward, Boating Buddies, Dear Vikins, Penny Foolish, and The Graveyard Shift been the most obvious episodes. Even If the writers later actually made SpongeSquid happen, we slash fans (or at least me) are'nt asking for a super mushy make out scene nor for them to have other "stuff", but yes something cute and kid friendly like them going out to places, watch a movie, or have lunch together in the background. This is my opinion and I won't force it at you guys if you just prefer Spongebob with Sandy or whatever female you guys would like Spongebob to pair up with and I'll respect that, so there should'nt be a reason left to go berserk at each other. Anyways is not my fault this poll has a ""No he needs a boyfriend because he's ga y"" option nor should there be one if the original poster herself and the majority of the forum members are'nt willingly to stand it being taken serious.
With that said, I retreat and hope Princes_Toph can communicate with me in the future if she wishes to.

IMO: Spongebob seems too innocent to understand the concept of love, and I've never imagined him with a girlfriend, although he does often hint that he loves Sandy (which can be quite sweet). I think everythings quite fine as it is at the moment, although giving him one would stop this "Spongebob is gay rumour once and for all.

Sad for you, cause a Homosexual relationship would NEVER be featured on a kid show, why? CAUSE WE LIVE IN AMERICA!In America, just imagine some id playing Spongebob and squidward, and they were both boys.

It was after I saw this episode, the Spandy fan inside me came back,along with the that new interview with the voice of Sandy...Where she says, QUOTE: "I think Sandy loves Spongebob,and maybe Spongebob loves her too,he just needs some years to relize it." But that's just her OPIONION. It has NO effect on the show at ALL. That's all I have to say, but execpt for,I still kinda dought in "Truth Or Square" He marries Sandy. I mean if he does,Nick BETTER like show them admitting there feelings toward each other,go on a date,show him proposing to her. I mean you know,show how they lead up to it. You know what I mean? Okay now that;s just my whole opioion on things.
