I know that. I stated it in my post. I just feel like SeaSpongez is putting too much on the haters.

What are you saying "putting too much on"? It affects it a lot, I have no idea in this world why you're defending haters. |
Defending the haters? Not at all. It's just that I noticed that you seem to get a little too flustered about the haters. I've read your posts.

Yeah... a little strange... |
Do you have any imput?

1. It's called input. 2. I was agreeing with his post. In my opinion, Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy is overrated. It's my OPINION. It's a well received episode. That means that most people enjoy it. I don't. I don't think it deserves to be ranked quite as high as it is. So, IN MY OPINION, it's overrated. |

First before I say anything, I need to have some sort of disclaimer: You guys know me. I am a HUGE fan of SpongeBob, both the pre-movie and post-movie episodes. I hate pretty much no episode. I by no means hate any season either. Buuut, with Season 7, I'm beginning to have a certain annoyance. Not with the season, but with the way people look at it. Some people like it better than Season One. Some like it better than Season Two. Some better than Season Three. Why is that? I don't think it's better than any of the three aforementioned seasons, not by one bit. While I do think it is the best post-movie season, it's not better than any of the pre-movie seasons. Why do people like it a lot? I have a theory. They see this last gleam of hope. They see SpongeBob coming back to its original glory, taking back its throne as one of the best shows on television. So, they label Season 7 one of the best seasons. But truthfully, it isn't. Sure, some of the episodes are downright hilarious, but we can't ignore the bad ones. We can't ignore the fact that this season still has some characters acting out of character, and that the show is still jumping that shark. Barely, but it still is. So, I still enjoy Season One WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than Season 7. It has the characters perfectly in character, and the plots were amazing, and original, and all that. Season 7 is great and everything, but there's still plenty of room for improvement. To name two off the top of my head:
Come on, most of you must agree with that. So, what do you think? |

I think Season 7 is fantastic so far, but I wouldn't go as far as to compare it to Season 1. |

While I wouldn't go so far as to say that, I understand where your coming from. And I'd say that there are SOME episodes from season 5 that compare to the old ones.
that70sguy92, you're beginning to act like one of those trolls from the Avatar forum.

And how is that? All I said is that it would be pretty difficult to find someone that agrees that Season 5 (my least favorite season) is better than Seasons 1-3. As for SOME episodes in Season 5 comparing to the pre-movie episodes, I'd say there are just 1 or 2 of them. If that. |
talonmalon333 wrote: | ||||
I don't know. You don't seem very accepting of people liking it at all. |
that70sguy92 wrote: |
No. That's not the case. I like every season. See the first post on this thread.... And the only instance that somewhat resembles me not accepting other people liking post-movie episodes is the post where I quoted jdogrules. But that's it. |

But you also said you had a "certain annoyance" with the appreciation it's getting. |
