What does having a pic from a certain episode as your avatar have to do with you liking the episode?

I think Season 4 had a great first half, but everything started going downhill after Wishing You Well.
I actually think the opposite. It had a weak first half, but then in the second half it got much better.
That's also what I think. The beginning of season 4 wasn't too terrible, but the episodes seemed to be too fast-paced in their storylines, and their animation was rather poor. I'd say the second half had the better episodes, with the exception of a few bad ones like "Once Bitten" or "Hocus Pocus".
Well in my opinion, the first half had some EXCELLENT episodes like Krusty Towers, Fear of a Krabby Patty, Dunces and Dragons (which I know you hate), Where's Gary, Wishing You Well, Mrs. Puff You're Fired and also some pretty good Krabs vs. Plankton, All That Glitters (which I know everybody else besides you and me hate), Chimps Ahoy, Patrick SmartPants, Whale of a Birthday. What great episodes did the second half have? Very few (of course in my opinion).

Considering how almost all episodes are getting 7's, I think PRAISE is what we're probably over-thinking.
That's because the haters are giving every episode a 1

Hopefully the rest of this season doesn't have as many bad episodes as the last 3 seasons did. That's all I can say.

I think everyone is hoping that. I doubt anyone's hoping for more bad episodes.

The only Season 7 episode I really don't like is Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy. It was decent, had a couple funny parts, but all in all a little too boring and a tad weird.

BTW, Growth Spurt is EXTREMELY underrated.

Agree with the Growth Spout thing. And yeah, Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy is really overrated. Not a good episode.

Season 1 takes a slight edge over season 7 IMO.

Overrated? You know it's not a popular episode, right?

I think you mean it's really "bad".

You seem to be taking this the wrong way .

And if something isn't popular, then it can't be over rated. That's not an opinion. It's a fact.

Anyway, on topic, this is how I'd rank season 7 in comparison to the others.

    Season 3 >/= Season 2 > Season 1 > Season 7 > Season 6 > Season 5 >>> Season 4

I'm saying I find Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy too well-received. Many people actually love that episode. Ergo, I find it overrated.

Never EVER use episode scores to judge how well-received an episode is. SpongeBob has an uncountable amount of jealous haters that give episodes 1's before even seeing them.

I looked at the reviews on the episode, and they seem to be made up of people who at least appreciate the show, even if there were some people who simply rated it without reviewing it. It's fine enough.

    No.

Reviews take up little percentage of the score.

The haters ruin the scores. 'Nuff said.

Yeah. You don't have to review the episode to give it a score.
