NO he isn't gay I'm so sick of people saying that. SpongeBob is meant to be a children's show(Though I watch it), and children don't think that way.

Here are things to support the fact that SpongeBob is NOT gay.
1. The creator flat out said that he is not.
Now that alone is enough . But I will go on.
2. The only reason that he would seem like it is because the creators think it will look funny. This is a kids show, so they do not except children to call him gay .
3. He clearly has a crush on Sandy. Now having a crush does not mean that he is deeply in love, or that they will end up dating. He just seems to like her that way. Remeber the Valentines thing?
4. In "Chocolate With Nuts", they had femal dates.
5. In season five, he feel in love with a krabby patty, which was made out to be a girl.
Also, Patrick is not gay This is even more obvious, because he fell in love with Mindy in the movie.
That is about it .

He's not gay though in The Two Faces Of Squidward, which I viewed on TurboNick, he seems gay He calls Squidward "handsome" and "a hunk" many times, as well as saying that he loves him. I don't think he is, but it seems like it in that episode.
