I never thought I would sympathize with that loon Mrs. Benson (She is not only the most annoying character on iCarly, but ranks in the top ten of most annoying characters in TV history, imho). But!!!!!--if you had a son, would you really want him to date someone who: 1. Beats up on him from time to time; 2. Was a jail inmate, and is on probation; 3. Didn't care about school and grades, and thus is destined either to land up in jail, or end up living in a cardboard box in a sewer tunnel with her possessions stacked in a nearby shopping cart. And no, this does not mean I am a Creddie fan. Actually Freddie would be best off finding a soul mate who is a fellow nerd--a nerdette, and they end up together raising a bunch of little nerdlings. I do find the Sam character funny on TV, but in real life she would be bad news, like the 3 and 1/2 Men character played by Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen as an oversexed lecherous buffoon TV character=funny. Charlie Sheen as an oversexed lecherous buffoon in real life=totally disgusting.

I can def see y mrs. B isn't thrilled at the prospect of Seddie. A regular mom would be worried, but a super exaggerated mom like mrs. B..... complete meltdown. But you guys are being a little drastic. In real life a girl who graduates, doesn't do any drugs, doesn't have any kids has plenty of opportunities. Even with a record. (my cousin has a record and kids, but she has a degree in nursing.) Yall are giving Carly and Freddie too much credit, when Carly got straight A's Spencer made a giant A. So it must be a rare occasion that, that happens. And they go to a public school, if you're really smart A's in a public school shouldn't be that hard to come by. So neither one of them is going to Yale or anything like that. They will probably go to a public/state college and there are smaller schools nearby them that are easier to get into, that Sam could go to. So her future doesn't have to be completely dismal.

I kinda hope they don't break up later on. Not because I'm a Seddier or whatever but because I feel like after that, it just won't be the same. Like, it won't go back to the way it really was. Although, even if they don't, I'd still be glad for the fact that two of the character actually got together before the end of the series

VC - Btw, I would love for those 4 things to happen. The rhyming part especially. It makes me wonder what kinda creepy rhyme she'd actually come up with.

I think Mrs. Benson would be upset no matter who Freddie dated. Either way, it means he is rowan up and a little closer to becoming more independent. I haven't seen Ms. Benson hate Sam in particular in the past, it was usually everybody he hangs out with.

@MAB: I know what you mean. Sometimes a couple I like go through so much, when they get together it wasn't even worth all the issues they had to get there. If that makes sense. We wait so long for somebody to get together, once they got together it doesn't feel worth it. If they wait a whole season or so "on a break" and get together, it would be like "Oh...that's it?".

And I think they get money from advertisements off of iCarly.com and use THAT money for food. Or maybe it's just magic.
