you know what it is? characters are more funny when they're weird and don't have many lines. like gibby, for example. in the early episodes, you never knew when gibby was gonna say or do something strange. that's what made him funny. but now he's got too many lines, and he's a bit OOC IMO.

I think it's more of him growing up rather than being OOC or anything. It's not like Freddie is OOC because the writers gradually wrote away his stalker-ish habits towards Carly...he's just growing up. I think it's the same way for Gibby. I just don't like it as much. I think ever since he's been a series regular he's more of a "real person" instead of just a "Gibby". The fact that he isn't as strange is him becoming more mature. I guess strange and obscure things can be predictable and overdone(cough Lady Gaga cough coughhhh) but like you said, when it's in small doses like how Gibby used to be, it's not.

Oh yeah. They have too with Freddie and his love for Carly. It has def. died down a bit over the seasons, nowhere near as strong as Season 1. He has matured in that way though. Gibby has outgrown his 'taking his top off' thing.

Freddie reminds me of a short bear...that can stand upright

But yeah, Gibby can be a bit much at times.

Yeah, it's a good thing that writers have toned down Noah's character - Gibby.

The iCarly gang must have a heart of gold... going back to Nora's house even after what she did to them in Part 1.

Also, when her parents said none of her "friends" were coming over, that right there should have been the red flag that Carly and the gang needed to decide to not come themselves.

But it worked out the best for everyone, Nora and her parents got sent to jail, Carly and everyone else got to live their life again, and well, poor Gibby was stuck in that chimney during a rainstorm...

They should never have gone back to Nora's house, would have given them nightmares really. Surprised they did after last time. Yeah, wish Gibby was in that chimney for a few days more.

Yeah, the first time was shame on her because they weren't expecting it, but the second time was shame on the iCarlies because the knew how bad nora was.

Carly was the smart one, until she got guilted into it, this was one of those times I was like "Yes, Carly's the smart one for once!"

Yeah, she was easily fooled into thinking Nora became nice.

You're right with that. iCarly should have been a lot smarter the 2nd time round.

yeah, I thought they were a little too quick to forgive.

Although I did find this to be an epic episode, a harrowing experience truly, and a taste of drama.
