Of course it isn't. No one is saying that it is. But this is TV we're talking about and circumstances regarding multiple parts in this realm is different as opposed to stage acting where it's more acceptable to have a multiple role in. You're not really understanding what I am saying regarding that when it comes to TV.
Now a person can play multiple parts on TV, and it's understandable if they're small and there's not much interaction with the main characters over the course of how many years. But here, we have Victoria who has already played two characters who interacted in a big way with the iCarly characters. The fact that her second role was just eight months and was in fact a character she was already playing on another show that's still running along side this one, it makes it weird that she's taking on a third role on iCarly now, like her Tori Vega crossover interaction didn't matter anymore, like how Helen's appearance on "Victorious" to establish universe connection with "Drake & Josh" didn't matter anymore that D&J had to be referred to as a TV show in an episode directly after Helen's appearance. A universe connection was made so why couldn't it stay like that? Victoria had played a crossover character on this show who interacted with the iCarly gang, so why is she now playing a different character interacting with them? That's why I feel she's better off playing Tori whenever she appears for a guest-appearance and not some one else, because of the crossover interaction.
Is anyone understanding this? It's more in common like if the guy who played Principal Franklin (who we haven't seen since Season 3) came back this upcoming season as a new teacher at Ridgeway. Well, don't you think he's better off playing Principal Franklin since that character had many big interactions with the main characters and was working at the school? A disguise is one thing, but a flat-out look-a-like is different depending on how big the previous role was played. It was awkward for Victoria to even be on iCarly playing Tori after playing Shelby, but this was a crossover with a show she was already starring on where she had to interact with the iCarly gang so it had to slide by. On top of that, we got a reference by Sam to how she "looked like Shelby Marx". But it's clear Shelby isn't going to come back. But since Victorious was connected with iCarly and is still running, it again makes it look rather awkward to me seeing Victoria likely playing a different character now.
