There are a lot of things that are way out there for this future development. I have my own preferences about who I want to see him go out with, and I have a guess at who it might be (not the same as who I'd like him to go with), but that isn't what intrigues me most. I'm thinking about the circumstances that he'll be under at the time. Based on the picture we have of Zuko from Comic-Con, we can guess by the outfit he wears that he's some how managed to intergate into a higher level of the sociaty in Be Sing Se. (His changing appearance might be an illustration of his changing assets.) Beyond guessing who this girl is, there's still a lot of speculation that can open up about other things like: Does she even know who he really is? Is Zuko somehow forced to take her out, or is he really growing feelings for her? Just how serious and important is this matching to the story? Try thinking about those sort of things. The reason I'm most interested in this situation, and perhaps why many fans are so attached to the idea of Zuko being in a relationship is because we know he's a good person at heart. If "Zuko Alone" was an indication of anything, it showed that the young boy Li was the first person Zuko really bonded with since his mother disappeared. The fact that we're going to see a Zuko sharing a relationship with someone means we're going to see that tender side of him again. If anyone wants to know, I've believed Zuko was good since episode one. |
Agreed. He DOES seem to attach to people very fast that let him. That's why when he joins Aang and Company he'll probably become very attached to them even though I'm pretty sure it won't be so fast on their part. He'll really care about their safety even though he won't show it.
