    True words. I never understood girls who like bad boys, or emos, or "aura of smooth" guys. I like people with good hearts, a level head, and fun personalities. Somebody who will respect me and have fun adventures with me (the non drinking, smocking, or drugs type). Which is why I have yet to experience love-heartache.

    In my case it's not the scar that turns me off, it's his constant mr. cranckypants attitude. If he were from the start how he is now I would have liked him as a character from the start.

    I'm an extremely logical person when it comes at matters of the heart so I'm known to facepalm when I see a girl crying over how much she loves her boyfriend even though he just cheated on her or he doesn't chance his bad boy ways. Ugh!

    before this starts an argument, let me point out that these studies show that women find rougher, more masculine facial features more attractive when they're ovulating than when they're not. saying this means they like "bad boys" is an obvious overstatement.

    the fact that the results were found to be statistically significant means that that there is at the very most a 5% chance of these results happening by random chance, as opposed to being a result of an actual quality of the population being studies. women do, in fact, have a tendency to find more masculine facial features more attractive during ovulation.

    plenty of people this about stats the same way you do, saying they're not trustworthy because they and/or the people they know don't match the results, but personal experience is not a controlled experiment. just because you don't think you fit the results, doesn't mean the results aren't true. and frankly, it's downright narcissistic to think one's own personal experience somehow trumps a valid controlled experiment.
