This topic made me lol. Then I realized he was serious andcried out in rage

Zuko =/= Emo. No sense of the word. Not the music, not the wrist-cutters, not the other types of emo. He is angsty. There is a world of difference. Zuko doesn't really complain that much, we just make fun of him for bing emo when we're JOKING.

Actually yes in real life I find scars and injuries in general attractive (seriously, I dunno why) this guy that keeps staring at me all the time got a big cut on his face, and all the sudden I was actually considering him... point is, guys don't know what all girls like. You may have an idea of what some do, but it's half our purpose to confuse you XD

Plus a guy you can feel really, reallysorry for, but who's also strong about it and doesn't go around whining about it (well not most of the time)... that is hard to come by. Plus he's crazy hot. That's always an EXTREME plus.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I ment steryotype emos who have no problems but are just emo and cut themselves because they think its cool. Like the grunge phase that passed over the 90s.

Pre- DoBS I must admit I didn't like Zuko at all, and I'm a girl. He was an angry jerk who needed a good slap. I have a friend who went through a similar thing with his dad and I just wanted to Smack Zuko. Also because his relationship, or lack of a healthy one, reminds me of my father. So Zuko hits personal with me at how he forgets that he's now out in the world with the best damn guy (Iroh) and he could be out having a great time while looking for the avatar, but no all he can think of is his dad. The same man who thought little of him, that scarred him, that degraded him... UGH! You know, my friend got 5 scars from his drunk dad before he met me. He couldn't wait to get rid of him and go into the world. If my friend had had the chance Zuko got he would have been so happy. Now I don't hate Zuko because he realized what my friend Andrew and me knew years before the show even started. If your father sucks you don't grovel for his love. You move on and away from him and hope to not hear from the (insert favorite insult) . Zuko now knows that dad is not the sperm donor, but the man that raised you to be better. Finally, he now knows what a moron he was for not appreciating his lucky star for his time away from his dad and traveling around the world with Iroh. Dude if that's a punishment, scar not included, his dad can punish me.

Reviewing of Episodes: In relation to reviewing episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender:

    1. Please do not post reviews until the episode finally airs in the US. This site is for intelligent discussions of TV shows and "OMG THIS EPISODE IS ABOUT ZUKO SO ITS GONNA ROCK!!" is not an acceptable review. Reviews submitted before an episode aired will be reported to the TV.com staff.

    2. No curse words in the reviews please. Although there are many adults who visit this site, there are also many kids, as this show is rated Y-7. Please be respectful of that.

    3. Please used proper grammar and spelling. Online your identity is shown through how you communicate and structure those communications. If you think it is "cool" to not capitalize letters, punctuate sentences properly and use proper English, you give other people a bad impression of yourself. This can also apply to the forums.

Thank you for understanding. You won't be reported for violations of number 3, unless it is so hard to read it's confusing. Please try to make your reviews at least readable.

please pay particular attention to teh bolded point.

and one more thing, avatar isn't an anime, we assume people know this, clearly they don't.

    Oh the irony.

ZUKO IS NOT EMO!!!!!! HE'S SENSATIVE AND I KNOW BECAUSE I'M A GIRLY-GIRL AND I DON'T LIKE EMOS!!!!!! NOTE THE PINK!!!

Zuko is neither emo nor sensitive. (by the way emotional and sensitivity aren't that different) He just realized that everything he has been living for isn't going to make a bit of difference and anyways he's cool with it now. He's "normal", in case you guys haven't seen 312 or 313.
