Actually, I rarely visit TV.com much anymore. I have found better sites. But why did I come here in the first place?

My memory is horrible, first off. But I can only imagine.

Sitting in my dorm on a cold, dark, New Hampshire January afternoon, I trawl through the internet, trying to find a purpose to existance. Sure, I have a four page English essay due tomorrow, sure my math project is piling up and my history is laughing at my feeble attempts to complete it, but I don't care. I am past caring. Then, what's this? I stumble across a site dedicated to the one thing that brightens even the darkest of days, Avatar. At last! I delve deep into the threads of Avatar, avidly discussing and debating. I am at home. Then, I discover something.

Trolls.

And my life takes on new purpose. in the dark, cobwebbed corner of a small, insignificant thread, I speak to friends of a budding idea; a way to fight these trolls. Thus, OWLism and The Disciples of the Dragon are born. I devote myself to the cause, and soon it is a rousing success. Sure, it had it's pitfalls, but I was content that the fight to keep our forum clean and happy was going well. It was a golden time. A short, golden time. For then, a foe I could not conquer reveals itself.

Thus, I have retreated from TV.com, and taken Refuge elsewhere. But once in a while I return here, in hopes I may find it a better place.

That is why I am here.
