Who deserves the trone more? Zuko or Iroh?

Who deserves the throne more?

    No he doesn't. Iroh used to be a feared general, which indicates leadership skills, Zuko has led his ship to many failures. Also if you think who has more wisdom and experience than obviously Iroh deserves it, with Zuko serving as crown prince, so when Iroh dies Zuko gets the throne.

    Zuko would most likely be Fire Lord. He has evolved from a troubled prince to a wise leader. I don't know what happens to Iroh though.

    I think Zuko will make a fine Firelord, so long as he doesn't betray the gaang again. He has suffered for the most part of his life and as he said that makes him strong. He will do fine.

    Iroh definately should have the thrown, not only is it rightfully his but zuko will eventually get it in due time anyway

    Well, in a certain sense, Ozai is a usurper...which means Iroh technically is the Fire Lord now. So the throne could be his, in a perfect world. But for the sake of the plotline, Zuko was given that Crown Prince Head Piece for a reason.

    Its simple though it took me a while to get it.

    The world was thrown out of balance when the firelord betrayed his friend the Avatar. Zuko finally decided to teach Aang firebending and will start to form some sort of bond of friendship. Finally Zuko will become the firelord when Aang restores peace and their friendship will be part of the new balance.

    iroh deserves it more but i think zuko will be crowned firelord and have iroh as his advisor

    I didn't think about that. I suppose that after Ozai's gone, someone could proclaim it a democracy (or however that might work). But would Iroh be the one to do it?

    I dont think Irohs interested in being Firelord so it doesn't matter even though he probably deserves it more.

    That is true. But if Iroh were to become firelord wouldn't Zuko become the crown prince again so he can learn from Iroh and when he dies Zuko is ready for the throne.
