You may say that but it still does not refute that Azula achieved greatness. She orchestrated the coup that overthrew the Earth Kingdom, and she slew the Avatar...those two accomplishments alone display how great she was. |
but she didnt do good enough!!!! cuz one, ba sing se was reconquered, and two, the avatar was still alive, but she didnt make sure of that.. just because u get shot by lightning, doesnt mean you die right then and there...she should have made sure!!! doesn't she know that some water benders have healing powers? i think she was being lazy maybe....hmmm....maybe.....idk...juts throwing things out there....

Yes greatness is based on opinion. What you think greatness is and what another person thinks of greatness may differ alot. |

Wrong. It's a fact that she conquered Ba Sing Sei quickly and efficiently. It's a fact that she held off the entire gAang without bending. It's a fact that she was born a prodigy. You may interpret her greatness as being good or bad, but it is still great. Greatness is a fact. |

A 12 year old Avatar while in the Avatar state, therefore having hundreds of generations of power to back him up. Yeah, that's pretty amazing. And she lost against Ty Lee because she wasn't expecting it AT ALL. |

He was completely powered. He was rising and about to attack, and Azula took him off guard. That's incredible. |

She is. But Ty Lee's move wasn't premeditated. She just acting in the spur of the moment. Azula knew what she was going to do, which makes it even greater. |
Let's put it this way - if Azula does not meet the definition of greatness, then nobody else in the show does, except Aang, and possibly Iroh, for all that we know of him, mabye Ozai too, although that one's a stretch.
