What tiny tidbits do you focus on?

I think it's kind of obvious that I catch tiny bits from episodes and can't drop them. For instance, I always wonder which Avatar was left-handed whenever I see The Library. I am assuming Kyoshi, by the way. ^^

What pointless little trivia bits do you dwell on constantly?

I pay attention to the dialogue (sp?) personally. I try to find little hints about what is going to happen.

    I look for subtle animation.

Remember in "The Guru", when Azula said "It's terrible when you can't trust those closest to you." Mai and Ty Lee exchange glances. However, I don't think that meant they were planning anything, I just think it showed that even they weren't always so faithful.

But sometimes I listen to the dialogue too. Not so much what they say, but how they say it.

I do find myself listening more to the dialogue. My television is sort of my white noise while I sit here so I listen to TV and type at the computer.

I never caught that glance before. Sneaky, sneaky.

Althouogh its not really a TINY tidbit, i focus alot on the music. The reason i find the scene really epic where Aang delivers the final blow to the Drill is because the music combined with the powerful moment just makes me get cold chills. Its the same for the Season 3 Trailer for the first half. When katara lifted her arms to spray the mist, and the music exploded, i deff got cold chills from that.

I highly doubt you'll find that.

But once and a while, a major cleavage shot will slip by. In fact, Azula got that twice. Fanservice!

I think the tidbit me and many other fans focus on the most is the whole Iroh journey into the Spirit World thing. Unfortunately, we'll never hear of that again, according to what was said as Comic Con.

I know this is going to be really sad but I remember in the very first DVDs when the voice-over announcer not only mispronounced Appa but Sokka as well. LOL That was sooooo annoying. Luckily in the later DVDs they corrected it.

But it was like "Join Sokka (pronounced Soak-ka), Aang and Katara on their adventures riding on Appa (not Ah-pah but Aaa-pah)."

    So sad.

First DVD, you say? Huh, I should listen to that and see how much it bothers me.

I think it depends on when you bought your DVDs. My sister and brother-in-law became fans later and it wasn't on their S1 set but it was on the individual DVDs.

I also dwell on the fact that the moon is a crescent in one episode (Winter Solstice I think) and the 'next day' it's a full moon. LOL

"The Nitpicker's Guide to Avatar" as it were.

I pay extra attention to the dialouge (sp?), emotions, and reactions of the characters. I've discovered that looking closely at those thing helps interpret the characters better.

Of course, that's just when I'm analyzing.
