I got the OK from pooldude to make this thread. Here you can post the weird things you notice in Avatar episodes. Some weird things I've noticed are:

The Blind Bandit: When Toph is holding up her trophy belt before she fights the Boulder with the two women standing on either side of her, the women look twice as tall as her, and Toph's??only supposed to be 5'2 or 5'3.

The Library:??While Aang is "putting his orchestra together" Appa is rythmicly moving his head back and forth for no reason.

The Chase: After Zuko, Aang, Toph, and Katara have attacked Azula together and the smoke clears, Aang and Katara have switched places.

I know that this little tid bit has been said 500 times before, but in The Southern Air temple, at the end, apperantly the clouds are shaped like Roku on his dragon. I don't see it clearly though.

also in the Southern Air Temple when Aang knocks Sokka off?? in air ball, Sokka notices the fire nation helmet and the cliff above him is flat but when Katara does her waterbending the cliff is fuul of fluffy snow. Just a glitch I happened to notice.

in "The Avatar State" when that old man makes the mixture of the four elements, he takes a lit torch from behind him and puts it in the bowl. after he throws the mud on Aang and asks him if he feels anything, the torch he had taken in back in place.

i've got a million others, but that's all for now

Well that was the 3rd episode, and was bound to be filled with glitches. Sokka's character design was even different for that ep. Also, Kyoshi wasn't the Avatar next to the Roku statue. But as they've gone on they've thankfully gotten rid of most of the glitches in the show.

Here's one I submitted under "trivia" in the Avatar Day eppy: there's that scene where Katara dresses Aang up in Kyoshi's clothes, right??? Well, the trial is taking place in Chin, but Katara and Sokka were on Kyoshi Island when they saw her clothes, and the guy (I forget his name) didn't even want them to touch Kyoshi's belongings.

i always wondered about that but they must have told him the avatar needed her clothing for his trial or something and just couldn't include it in the timeframe of the show

I think there was a time lapse between the testimony where they could've hopped to Kyoshi and back, bringing the costume for Aang. You know, anything to help the Avatar, right?

Edit: Damn beat me to it

Weird. The Crazy-Foaming Mouth Guy hasn't been used in every epsiode. They actually saved a funny joke, instead of driving it into the ground, like the Cabbage Man. Even though he is funny.

That may be for different reasons.?? It could be part of the technique.?? It might be so that she can breath.?? Fully encasing herself may hinder her ability to sense, and she needs that opening to retain those senses.?? It could be to create a false image to her opponent.?? If she keeps the eyes open, her opponent may think she sees with her eyes.
