UPDATE-Avatar isn't the only show Nick screws over-Nick bashing imminent

Which Show Did/does Nick screw over the most?

    Guys, why are we focusing on the cartoons? Zoey 101 has already been mentioned here, and I know Drake and Josh is getting the Nick treatment too.

    It is mostly cartoons, but Dan Schneider must be pretty PO'd with Nick for the way his shows are treated too, especially considering that if Dan Schneider leaves Nickelodeon they'll die.

    Seriously, I've never been a 'Nick-hater' but after reading this thread I realise that Nick really is a horrible corporation.

    Congrats Nick, you've just lost all respect from me.

    Yes, you did forget Ren and Stimpy! I remember when it first aired, and it, too, got royally screwed. But, then, it was a little adult for Nick...

    lol, i did like that show. but i didnt see every episode...so yeah...i wish they would show older shows like Ren and Stimpy on Nicktoons.

    It's not owned by MTV, both MTV and Nick are owned by Viacom.

    if you think about it, spongebob and rugrats were the only shows nick seemingly liked. thats two out of at least two and a half dozen nick toons. very poor success rate imo.

    now that doesnt include the cult fans of avatar, danny, zim, and others

    Also, has anyone forgotten about some of the shows that were canceled after a few episodes (such as that Ameila show thingy -- I forgot the actual name)? They weren't good, but still, shows deserve a chance to develop.

    The only sad thing about The N is that they play Degrassi 24/7 (I don't have a problem with Degrassi, I just want to see my other shows) and I think they are owned by Viacom.

    That's because the execs want an instant hit overnight. Spongebob give them that.

    Irony of course it that Spongebob Squarepants was a modest success when it premiered and didn't become the big thing until at least a few years.

    Now if these shows had been on in the 90s, they would have seen better treatment for sure.

    Nicktoons Network-Tuesdays through Saturdays-4am EST (3am for my time zone/tz)
