Mako was a great actor and??is sorely missed. maybe the folks at ATLA will use the same voice replicating technology that the??creators of??Gladiator (With Russel Crowe) used to finish all??of the scenes with Proximo. As a long time fan of Mako I??think??that it would work.??R.I.P. Mako

Oh god no... Mako was such a great guy. Man, my favorite three old "sifu" guys have now passed away. It has been an honor to see such work from such greats: Victor Wong (Grandpa from 3 ninjas), Pat Morita (Mr. Myagi), and Mako (Aku, Uncle Iroh). I will dearly miss them.?? Rest in Peace gentlemen.

What would you do if they reused his voice but did it like how they did on South Park when chef died? You know really cheap sounding and the tones are all off?

Also very nicely said, Mello! It's like some people just go around looking for ways to make a conflict. I, for one, loved your video tribute!

For the good of those who have come here to pay respects to Mako and don't need to read about conflicts on this thread, I have deleted my post #108.??

I just deleted that post (just because the conflict is upsetting some), but thanks.?? I'll repeat the part I said about Mako... I??do wish I could've done more than that short tribute, but Avatar's what I had, and this is an Avatar forum, and Mako really made Iroh into a more lovable, human character than most real actors I see on TV.???? A true tribute to his life's work would take far more time and resouces than what any of us have, but we can let his work (including the generations of Asian-American actors he's inluenced) speak for itself.
