    ok, just want to say that, I will go with what the creators do. I'm really just in it for the story line. but Aang is 12 and Katara is 14 (she's supposed to be the same age as Azula and Ty Lee according to nickelodeon and other official sources--just check character profiles on the nick, avatar website).
    I have no problem with Aang and Katara being together, but I see it happening when they're older. Right now, Aang is 12 and Katara is 14, and the age difference bothers me a bit in terms of a romantic relationship. Although Aang has certainly matured (by an enormous amount), he's still just a boy. If the whole romantic relationship thing happened right now, when Katara and Aang were at these ages, it would bug me.
    This is partially because I remember going to summer camp when i was 14. there was a 12 year old boy who had a crush on me, but I viewed him as what he was--a boy. I had a boyfriend who was a little older than me at the time. I'm not trying to go by the convention (the guy is usually older than the girl), but I really feel like it would be weird if Katara dated a 12 year old boy. When they're older, I'd see their personalities meshing very well.
    Frankly, I'd like to see Katara with anyone at her maturity level and age level. The only guy she had something with was Jet, and that wasn't really anything. And Sokka's getting so much lovin, why can't Katara get any?? She's certainly pretty enough. I haven't even seen her get hit on by anyone. Aang's called her pretty and Jet seemed to have a bit of a thing for her in Lake Laogai, but that's it.
    Sokka's got Yue, Ty Lee, Suki, the whole haiku school...
    What about Katara?? yea...this message is way too long...

    KATAANG FOREVA!!!!!!!!!
    Ok, Zuko and Mai arn't going to be together forever you know

    And although Aunt Wu said that Katar is going to marry a powerful bender, she also told Aang that there was going to be no love in his life and it's been made pretty clear that Zuko is a powerful bender

    KatAang: Main pairing of the series with 465465465446546546 hints everywhere. The pairing has also started already in the series itself.
