Is it just me, or has the avatar forums gotten a little desperate in topics since the finally?
Edit: answer 4 should be"No way, the topics are still intresting, this topic and its creator should go in a ditch and die
Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

for example What other colours, would you like to see with Firebending? or Shirtless Aang or Songs that go with Avatar

Actually, these forums are still going quite strong. The thing is that almost all discussion and such has moved to the already pinned threads. People find those topics more appealing than most of the new ones.

Let's be reasonable here. The show has been off the air for a few months now, the forums have died down as a result. A lot of the orignal members can't post because they are banned, and the ones that remain have nothing to say. This leaves making new topics to noobs and newer members. The big reason itself is because almost everything has been discussed already, that's why these odd threads aren't dropping to the second page, not to mention not enough older threads are being bumped. |

I'm not denying that we've taken quite a battering. But we're not dead yet - there's still life in this place.
Personally, I think a big part of it has to do with school being back on. That's really shaken things up here.
I'm still holding out hope that the MMO will be able to give us a bit of a kick.

I know what you mean about the one post in an hour or about an overload. I might switch to the Refuge soon, too. This place has just become so dead. I don't want to, but if it gets to be 10 posts a day I might have to. |
