No, but what's your point? Because there aren't any inexplicably romantic Zutara moments to speak of at all.

Ba Sing Se catacombs. It's been brought up post-CoD.

Also, I submit that Sugar Toes is under even more pressure than Zuzueen to have its moments be brought up again because it is the "DNA of the show" (as many Sugar Toesers have quoted from Mike and Bryan). It seems quite odd that this "DNA" is never brought up post-the episode that it happens in, if it's brought up at all; I'm looking at you, DoBS kiss.

Ah, how I love the old predictable reactions ^_^ I've almost missed this. As for Kataang having already happened, you're as blind as you make us Zutarians out to be. Where in the show have Katara and Aang kissed and received a positive reaction? Like a SMILE, or kissing back (like Sukka etc). I don't believe such a thing has happened yet. Therefore, Kataang has not already happened. Sorry, but its true. Deal.

have you seen or heard about the book? Oh thats right you think its just a fanfic.

Yeah, I have heard about the content in the book. And yeah, I think its a fanfic. Why? Because the author of the book actually writes fanfictions for a living. The plot is inconsistent, random, characters pop up every which way with no explanation, and a whole bunch of other crap I won't talk about because I refuse to spoil those few who haven't been "spoiled" to this pathetic ending.

Also, "its not a fanfic, cause there's an official bryke interview in it". Ok, first, why the hell is this "official interview" confirming spoilers of the finale in a mere children's book? And why the hell did they release spoilers of the finale BEFORE the finale. I mean, could you get any stupider? Clearly Bryke's goal in life was to create an epic tv series, then randomly decide "hey, let's totally screw up our fanbases by letting them read about the ending in a book meant for children that apparently leaves so much out anyway!" What a plan. I am amazed.

Also, bryke have confirmed in past official interviews that did not contradict themselves and other past interviews (unlike this one that also had questions from other interviews in it), that if ever spoilers or fake spoilers get released, they'll confirm nothing. They like to give us stuff to mull over to help pass the time. Which is why we've heard nothing from them about this book.

Whatever. Clearly you're not going to believe me just because you're happy with the ship ending. I'll just say that if this book is real, plot/ships notwithstanding, I'm disappointed in Bryke for the decision to release the finale early. Not because of the plot of it, but because its just stupid. Why spend so much time and money creating this epic show, and then waste it all by releasing the ending early? its just ridiculous. Book real or not, ship-end real or not, Bryke could have done better with regards to releasing these spoilers early (and don't give me the crap that it costs money to store the books in warehouses for longer. If the contract with Nick said to release the books in May after the finale had aired, then Nick broke the terms of the contract by not releasing the finale first. Therefore, Nick would have to pay damages to Bryke, or store the books for longer at their own expense for screwing up. The book was intentionally released before the finale aired.)

Whatever. A challenge: I want a Kataanger to give me some Kataang evidence that does not involve bashing zutara in any way. And, just to try and pry something new out of you, you can't use the numerous friendly hugs and kisses on the cheek. Cause guess what, Zutara got a hug too. So if Zutara hugs don't count, neither do Kataang hugs. And kisses on the cheek happen between friends too. So go on. Surprise me. Give me something new that doesn't bash Zutara. Try it.

EDIT: speechless, you shouldn't have to worry about sounding rude when they don't care themselves *shrugs* (I feel sorry for you decent kataangers who get judged because of this)

because they cant see whats in front of them. They dont realize that Bryke never had any intention of Zutara, never even heard of it until halfway through season 2. They even admitted they shipped kataang

you just disregared anything anyone would say. *sighs*

When has Zuko expressed any desire for Katara or vice versa? The only girl he thinks of is MAi. Look how he smiled in The Boiling Rock Part 1 Why would Zuko even want to get with Katara? I want someone to actually explain that and none of that mother crap And when Zutara gets a dance and Zuko makes Katara blush then they can say something or how about the kisses Lets see a Zutarian kiss.

The thing is there arent any zutara moments. The catacombs was far from romantic

and theres going to be another kiss at the end, instigated by KATARA to AANG!!!!.

Oh yeah, cause that's not a pure plot hole or anything. I told one of my Avatard friends about that little thing in the finale and she asked if I was joking. I told her I wasn't and she asked where the hell it came from. Do answer that for me. If katara's going to kiss aang.....where did it come from? When did she suddenly fall head over heels in love with him?

I will not allow Zutarians to threaten or send hateness to them beacuse they made kataang happen. There are zutarians who have gone way out of line and Im fighting back

I'm a kataanger as well, but not all Zutarians are like that. All ships have their bashers, not just Zutara. And I'm pretty sure AnimeAngel isn't one, either.

I will explain Kataang to me in a way that does not involve Zuko in any way shape or form. Well for a realationship to happen, both people obviously have to like the other. So let's start with Aang.

Aang obviously likes/loves Katara. There seems to be no arguement here. Since season 1, Aang has shown that he likes Katara as more than a friend, and in the Guru Aang decides to possibly choose his fate (of never being able to go into the Avatar State, we have yet to see the outcome of this) by deciding to chose Katara over the Avatar State. He also says it best in Nightmares and Daydreams when he tells Katara that he is doing everything that he is doing for her. (Yes it was a daydream, but no doubt it was the truth.) Therefore, Aang loves Katara. Agreed.

Now the hard part, does Katara love Aang? I believe so. Yes, in season one, she didnt quite see Aang this way. But what is improtant, was that she built a relationship with him on such a personal and emotional level that is vital for the foundation for a romantic relationship. (see The Storm for evidence).

In season two, their bond only strengthens. You can see how much Katara truly cares for Aang by how she feels his pain when he loses Appa, or how she is always there for him when he needs her. While some say this makes a give-give relationship and Katara gets nothing, i disagree. This is Katara's nature. She has always given everyone what they need, and is always there for people. Then people say this makes her motherly towards Aang and only thinks of him as a "son" (the rebuttles never end...lol), but like i said, she does this to everyone, so i would not see her seeing Aang as a son.

Season 3. In the Awakening, we see that Katara continues to care for Aang as evidenced by how upset she is when he just leaves them behind ("Doesn't he realize that we need him too?!") It is here, I think, where we know that Katara loves Aang. However the question is, does she like him as a friend or as a lover? I believe as a lover. In the Headband, Katara is clearly jealous of Onji (sp?) when Aang is dancing with her. I really don't see how that can be denied...Anways, Katara's jealousy makes her feelings for Aang show not one of a friend, but of more than that. I do not think she realized her emotions at this point, but I do think that exist and Katara is starting to slowly realize it.

As for the kiss, I think Katara is saddened for Aang afterwards because he is about to possibly face his death. (I would be f'in sad too). I think the reasoning for not having any Katara/Aang moments since then is simply that there has not been enough time. Every episode since then has served its purpose -find fire bending teacher-learn fire bending-save Suki and Hakoda- a Katara/Aang subplot just does not fit in. I will point out, however, that when Zuko joins the group, Katara more than everyone else feels the need to protect Aang.

She.loves.him. I guess it's up to your own opinion whether that love is friendly or not.

But point being, the moment in Ba Sing Se wasn't romantic. It was pity. Try again please.

About the book: The book was released because that was the date set for it to be released. Simon and Schuster, the book's publishers, have other inventory to deal with and can't sit on books the way Nick sits on the episodes. They had no choice but to release it early and Mike and Brian, nor anyone else that worked on the show had no say in whether or not the book would get released. Also, I quote from Giancarlo Volpe, a director of the show's DA.

Does anyone care anymore since you can just read what happens in a book?
