    well, there's no accounting for taste. i said kataang fanart is creepy and weird, and speaking not as a zutarian, but as an artist, i stand by it. i never said it was creepy and weird simply by virtue of being kataang fanart. it's just a correlation i've noticed. i didn't contradict my self. you, my good lad, contradicted me by claiming that there is a lot of good kataang fanart. i must respectfully disagree with that claim.

    oh i've seen quite a bit. don't get me wrong, i've come across the occasional gem, but for the most part it tends to be either unimpressive or disturbing.

    I really do want to see Zuko and Katara become good friends... they could really be close. But to make it into a relationship would be a stretch in the wrong direction.

    Agreed, But I Think Aang and Katara is too much of a one-sided relationship for anything to happen there either. Aang loves Katara but although she may have feelings deep down she views him more as a last hope for the world than a possible relationship.

    As for Zuko I don't think theres enough episodes in the season to develop a relationship that far between him and Katara. So I believe friends is all they'll stay at.

    Well, I don't want them as friends... I need them to be friends. This is the last stretch (that's the expression, right?) and a weak link can break the chain (american's say this, don't they?). Chain breaking was ok in all the previous fights but if a weak link happens now we're screwed because there's no do-over. Hate is Major weak link and as such it must be fixed before the gaang can face it's destiny.

    Still... I will miss b1tchy Katara. I have a soft spot for that type of female. I came back to avatar because after like a year I happened to catch The chase and loved Toph and Azula. Funny how back then most people believed Toph was an annoying brat...

    Yes, Katara has had her fun moments. Such as The Waterbending Scroll or The Awakening.
