Oh, so Katara looks for a tall dark and handsome guy then, as shown by Jet? Makes you wonder..... and I don't think anybody likes betrayal, especially from someone you fancy. The smarter thing to say would be "Jet was there to show how Katara would forgive Zuko. Jet's purpose was to teach her to forgive zuko, since their stories were so similar," or something like that, because that's true and doesn't really help zutara much (as opposed to the other things you said) |

I don't know about you, but I don't think anyone likes that very much, particularly if its someone you fancy. it would have been smarter for you to say "its to show how Katara will forgive Zuko for his betrayal - she learnt her lesson when she almost didn't forget Jet in time. Jet helped her learn how to forgive Zuko when he finally joined the group" |

She does have a point, Space. Saying it's to show that Katara doesn't like to get betrayed is kind like saying that Roku's message to Aang during 201 was to show why Aang won't want to die.

I know. I was thinking that's what it was meant to show, bu that it could also go for anyone, and that the focus was just on Katara. When in actuality I should have gone deeper than that, which that was just on the surface. |
I'd agree, but none of the other the other main characters have been betrayed by their romantic partner. Heck, the only two main characters that have dealt with betrayal (in one form or another) are Katara and Zuko. Take that for whatever you think it is worth, but the point remains that Aang, Toph, and Sokka haven't needed to endure it and it doesn't look like they will.

There are so many lame puns in this that it just makes it even funnier.

I just remembered wanting to ask you, being a Zutarian at all .It's about SpaceAngel Are you shocked that it happened? Did you see it coming? or Did you see it coming and you're shocked? |
I have no opinion or care about it either way. If you guys really are a couple outside of the internet, congrats and no, I didn't see it coming.

Damn, you have bested my argument. :p
Seriously, though, it was to show how Katara acted when she loved someone and that she's willing to forgive.

Not me. Finale will settle everything unless Mike and Bryan pull a really lame conclusion that doesn't answer the "Who will Katara end up with" question. If such is the case, I'll pull out because it won't be worth arguing.
I just found this and had to put it here
