    Zutara will happen but only in the minds of Zutaraians. Kataang is more symbolic then Zutara. Zutara is just hot, sexy, teenager love.

    yeh and considering its a kids show i doubt they would have two of them go off and make steam babies. but seriously considering its a kids show do you zutarans really think they would finish it with the main character heartbroken?

    Also, what makes you think Katara would smile if Zuko kissed her? And what makes you think that Katara and Aang won't have some last-minute hookup finale kiss that does leave her smiling because the war would be over?

    "I love Zuko more than I fear you." She loves him but doesn't want him back? Not to mention the dreamy look Zuko had when Mai was mentioned, and the fact we have seen him having feelings for Mai.

    I am sorry, but until I see Zuko and Katara showing romantic feelings for each other, Maiko's the most likely for me.

    Thank you and plus, Zuko clearly stated he just didn't want Mai involved in his mess. But the Zutarian eye-glasses ignore all details beyond "Zuko broke up with Mai" "Mai called Zuko a jerk" "Zuko left Mai at The Boiling Rock" "Katara didn't smile when Aang kissed her" "Aang and Katara don't act lovey dovey in every single episode" "Katara never said she loves Aang (because some of them need everything spelled out to them)". But when they need to plot morph... "Katara only suggested kissing Aang because she only wanted out of the cave." Never mind how offended she got when Aang was being an idiot.

    People are taking Mai's "Saving the jerk that just dumped me." too literal. We KNOW Mai is sarcastic, her feelings are just hurt because Zuko has to leave her behind and she doesn't understand why. Zuko's intentions is to keep her out of harm, but he doesn't know that she is willing to do anything for him because of her love for him. This is SHOWN when she takes on those guards to make sure he gets to safety; all Zuko had to do was ask if she wanted to go along with him back before the invasion and I'm quite positive she would have joined him.

    Mai really hasn't shown any compassion to her nation, the only times she seems to actually care is when Zuko's involved. That's why she's so upset that he left without talking to her; if he would have explained himself better instead of taking off, she wouldn't be so harsh and irrational to his destiny. Obviously, we're going to hear her say sarcastic things about Zuko's departure, that's her nature, it helps her deal with her relationship with Zuko.

    I didn't fall under the impression that Zuko dumped her at all, it's just something she said to make her feel better.
